We came in from California for a golf tournament. We ended up eating here not once, but twice. The food was excellent. The service was great. The first day we sat outside and the second time we sat inside. Great place. Highly recommend. My husband had the fish and chips, excellent! I had the pizza and it was excellent!

The live music was good. The service was great, very attentive. The food was mediocre. My husband's steak was very chewy. I ordered the chicken cutlets, the flavor was ok, but they were a bit too greasy. The Tiramisu was excellent.Overall a bit disappointed for the price and reputation.

Why would you take the best thing off the menu?! I was so disappointed that the crispy Korean cauliflower is no longer an option. The cauliflower made it 4 stars, now it's just three.

We came to Taverne on Woodlake specifically for their craft cocktails based on recommendations from some friends and were not disappointed. I ended up getting the Old Fashion and the Fuego Margarita both of which were soooo gooooood! The old Fashion was made with Russels reserve 10 year Bourbon (a recognized excellent Bourbon by the experts), Cooper and Kings Brandy, Whistle PiggyBack Rye whiskey, Blackberry and Angostura bitters. This combination of components are not what you would normally see in a classical Old Fashion but man do they form an amazing and tasty Old fashion albeit a tad on the sweet side. Absolutely delicious. The Fuego Margarita is made with a blanco tequila, 21 seed cucumber, Jalapeño, lime juice, Solerno orange liquor and Agave. I have had this drink on a cruise in the past which was quite good where the secret is to balance the Jalapeño/cucumber with the liquor so it does not overpower the drink and man did they nail it. This was absolutely a must try margarita if you are a fan of the drink due to its unique components and how well they complement each other. Top shelf all day long!! Overall a great afternoon drinking excursion that I cant wait to repeat and highly recommend for anyone into Craft cocktails where the emphasis is on Craft with this bar. Two huge thumbs up! No

Hidden gem is overused, but this is literally hidden (sort of). You really have to look for it hidden at the back of Woodlake Market. But it is worth finding. Not fancy, but fairly elegant.Well prepared delicious foods and nice specialty cocktails. The service is impeccable; prompt and polite. Strongly recommend.

Lovely little restaurant tucked back in the Woodlake Market shopping center. We Yelped this for a late brunch, as we were staying nearby at the American Club, and it turned out to be a great choice! It was a Saturday morning so we thought to call ahead and book a reservation. To our surprise, it wasn't at all busy when we arrived. Just a calm, enjoyable atmosphere. The decor is well done and the place feels spacious with high ceilings and large windows that look out at the lake. My husband I were starving so we dove right in with an appetizer. The crispy Korean cauliflower was so tasty. Just the right amount of crunch, and the bbq sauce was nice and tangy. Also loved the dipping sauce, which was something a cilantro lime cream. For an entree, I went for the chicken salad on a buttery croissant. Yum. There really is something about a good, flaky croissant. The flavor of the chicken salad was great - lots of potent herbs like fennel and thyme, plus stone-ground mustard which I love. All in all it was great and just the right portion. All sandwiches come with house-made potato chips, like the really good kind! You can however, opt to up-charge for sidewinder potatoes, which my husband did and enjoyed. He noted his steak sandwich was very good, though just a bit undercooked. We also ordered a side of bacon. For $6 it was most certainly not worth those two tiny slices, but oh well. For a place that serves brunch, I thought it was interesting that they didn't have much for coffee options. I would have loved a cappuccino or latte, or even just alternative milk for the black coffee being served. If you're up for a boozey breakfast drink however, they've got plenty of good options on the menu. I'd certainly return here to try other options, or sit at their bar for a cocktail.

My husband and I came for lunch yesterday. We had scoped out their menu before online to learn they had a brunch menu that they very strictly only serve on Sundays at 12:40.Having dietary restrictions I found this frustrating as I was looking forward to a poke bowl or Burrata salad. I was told they couldn't do that as it wasn't on the brunch menu and recommended to eat a burger without a bun or have one of their 2 salads offered on the brunch menu. It was a complete micro aggression and I was appalled that they had the nerve to tell me what to eat and refuse to make something that's on their normal menu.I ended up getting she crab soup which tasted good but I left starving. My husband had their burger. It was good.Customer service was crummy for us.

Food is really good, but weirdly the air from the vents is is always blowing in my face and makes me cold and uncomfortable. This happens every time no matter what table (i've been here ~8 or 10 times). I've asked members of the staff because it's so strange, and they said im not the only one who mentions this. Now we prefer to sit at the bar or outside in the summer. It was just closed for remodeling so I'll have to check out the changes. I'll keep going back though, the food is good :-)

First the mushroom pizza was amazing. It was unique, the crust was perfect and it was delicious. I ordered the kale salad. It had no kale. The dressing had zero seasoning and the amount of chicken wasn't a serving. For a $30 salad this was not anything I would expect. It was so disappointing. The beat salad was better but again needed some seasoning. I was very disappointed in the lack,of flavor in both salads.
