Excellent Italian food. Missed a while year from the fire in 2022. Our favorite waitress is still there. Parking is kind of hard to get a close spot. Pizza is top notch. The pastas, salads, and rest of menu is super tasty. There is almost always a full bar. The dining room is nice. Just right for having a friendly meal. Does not disappoint. Prices are typical of any restaurants today. Nothing too pricey.

I originally wanted lunch and a cocktail at a particular bar but parking was horrible so I googled is there a brewers game today and it starts in 10 minutes so I figured most bars will be packed so I phoned in an order here. I ordered a cheeseburger and frys that will be ready in 25 minutes which I thought was a long time for a simple order but maybe they are busy, nope when I got there they were dead on the Easter lunch hour. The place is literally a pizza kitchen in the front room in a house so no dine in at all.My cheeseburger came on sesame seed French bread with lettuce, tomato, onions and ketchup with a beef patty cooked to death that was very average and not seasoned. The frys were ok because they were hot cooked to order with a light crispy shell and soft center and not seasoned well at all.Overall the cheeseburger and frys were average and when I was told $8.25 I thought wow where can you get a cheeseburger and large frys for $8.25 these days so the value is pretty good.

I try to start my reviews with the positive so here it goes: I didn't get food poisoning. This is really close to my house. They're open late. The cons: the food. It was late, I put in an order, thinking this was the restaurant on 76th with a similar name...I know being from a Texas I'm used to more spice in my food but the noodle dish I got was 1) not what I ordered. It was late though so I wasn't stressed... I understand mistakes happen and I was happy to have food I didn't cook. I know mistakes can happen and I wasn't worried about it but thought it was worth mentioning. My friend got a calzone he didn't enjoy but ate anyway because it was food. The pasta was undercooked. The sauce was... gross. It was warm, unsalted, canned tomatoes. Not a sauce. It was basically inedible.I tried to give it to my stoned 20 something Roomie who had the munchies and they wouldn't eat it. If stoned folks take one bite and nope out you know it's bad.My friend gave me the remaining portion of his calzone and it was... mediocre at best.I will not be going back.

They have their hours listed on their website. Open at 11am. Ordered online at noon. 20 min for pick up. Got there and the door is locked. Lights are on as if the business is open. Called the number and knocked no answer from either. Paid for with a CC now I have to deal with the CC so I don't get charged for something I never got. Very disappointed. Just wanted a pizza.

Tarantino's has such a special place in my heart (and taste buds). I grew up visiting that cute spot in West Allis for take-out orders when we'd visit family in Tosa during my childhood, and it always hit the spot. From the crust--a classic, flakey, Milwaukee-style cracker--to the sauce, there's nothing like it. My father moved from NY to MKE in the '60s, and for nearly 60 years now, Tarantino Pizzeria has been the pizza place against which he compares all others. My personal go-to is anything with their sausage. It pairs well with the sauce, and I can't get anything that tastes quite like that combination anywhere else. I live in the MSN area now, but when my partner and I make it back to Stallis, he knows what we need to grab before hitting the road for our return trip. (In fact, for the sake of full disclosure, I should mention that I'm writing this review from the car as he drives us back home, and the smell of the pie perched in my lap is absolutely killing me.)This is a classic Milwaukee pie. Never change.

First time trying food at this location. Pizza was great. I would definitely order pizza here again. Nice thin crust. Not too happy with the appetizers. I will pass on the appetizers next time. Definitely a hole in the wall spot. I guess this place has been in business since the 50's and has been in the family ever since.

Great original pizza. The owner brought back the original recipe when he bought the place years ago. Two friendly staff work there.
