I am middle easter, and I can tell you growing up eating this food that this is the most amazing middle eastern food on the planet!!! Divya is an outstanding waitress during a time when the service absolutely sucks in America. And the best part is, the ambiance is very romantic, low-key and very comfortable. Anybody who does not try this food is doing themselves a dis service.

If meal time is at Taqwas, then oh you are in for a treat. Our mixed grill was off the charts, packed with juicy goodness in every bite. And don't even get me started on the sides, each one was a masterpiece. The service? The hostess made us feel welcomed when we walked in. They've also recently revamped the space, and it's got the traditional stylish vibe that makes dining there an experience in itself. Can't wait to go back.

Very good Middle Eastern restaurant. Maybe the 6th time I have came here. We went here this time with my fiancé, her parents, my parents, & my brother & sister in law when my family came into town. We knew we would get the family platter bc it is the best option knowing you will also get left overs.Honestly, you could probably get the Large Platter for 6 people & would be a steal of a deal for $80.We got the XL Platter for 8 people & it was well over a lot. The chicken was amazing. Price is $150 so when each entree itself is $18, it evens out & you will get leftovers. We probably finished 1/3 of the rice, 1/3 of the meat, & 1/3 of the baba ganososh & cucumber salad. They re-decorated the interior & looks very nice & updated.

Came here for the Iftar buffet which was incredible!! Their Fattoush and stuffed grape leaves are some of the best I have ever had and they had a really lovely spread of drinks, fruits, and desserts. For $30 it was such a copious spread and will definitely be back!

This was our first time my husband and I visited Taqwas. We brought a friend as well. The food was delicious. I had a chicken and beef plate. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was nice. I liked the decor a lot. We want to go back and try other dishes. We were unfamiliar with the names of our food. I had a yogurt drink that was very much like buttermilk. I loved it. The cucumber salad was yummy but our friend was expecting something more like his mother's. The rice was boring but colorful. We got baklava to go. We'll try the falafel next time.
