My Son bought me steak tacos - yummy - avoid if you don't like deep fried tortillas - the rice and beans were excellent though I next time will ask for cheese on side not on the beans. It hit the spot! Oops forgot a pic as it was door dash and I was famished

I was here a few years ago for lunch and it was pretty good. We stopped for a late dinner this time. First off, you can't miss the location right on the corner of 92nd and Beloit. The exterior is light up with bright LED lights so it seemed pretty safe. Inside the restaurant we were seated by the bar area since it was pretty late and the main dining area was closed. We were promptly greeted and ordered 2 margaritas on the rocks. Our server brought them out almost immediately (they were huge and quite tasty) and also chips and salsa. I usually can tell if I like a Mexican restaurant by their chips and salsa. The salsa was nice and spicy and the chips were very fresh. Ding, ding.....winner! We both ordered the daily dinner special - Burrito Loco dinner with your choice of meat, rice and beans, and a choice of red or green sauce for the burrito. All for $12! Pretty reasonable! The burrito was nice and big and the meat was tender and juicy. Overall, we both enjoyed our meal for the value. Service was very good as well. The only knock on this place was the really bright lights by the bar. It seemed like it was closing time even though the restaurant wasn't closing for another hour. We will definitely stop here again since I did see that they have a daily Mexican buffet special. I missed the days when ChiChi's was still around with their amazing buffet.

This has been a new spot for the better part of a year and I finally stopped over to check them out. The previous place was also a Mexican restaurant that didn't last very long and it's been plenty of restaurants over the years. The place has been remodeled since the last restaurant with a Mexican cantina vibe and visibility cooler than the last place. Service was outstanding during a snowstorm because I was the only person in the place. The two women were friendly and did a great job. I was started with chips and salsa that had 3 bottles of sauces with it. The chips were fresh with a nice ground corn flavor. The salsa was loose, not chunky but tasty with some heat and better than the three sauces. I ordered a strawberry margarita which was huge and average which I had to drink fast because it was in mountain form and as it settled/melted it overflowed the glass. I ordered the #2 combination plate which is 1 steak quesadilla, 1 steak burrito and 1 steak chimichanga with rice and beans with sour cream. My plate didn't take long to hit my table and it looked good. The steak quesadilla was good with slightly seasoned steak that was tasty because they left a little fat in it which is flavorful. Steak was in all the items so it all was similar with the burrito and chimichanga. The burrito was in enchilada form with our flour tortilla stuffed with steak and covered with cheese. The beans were whole beans mixed with refried, good but could have been seasoned better. The rice was very average/bland but I learned a long time ago to mix the beans and rice together and top with salsa/hot sauce and that rice becomes very tasty vs stand alone.Overall I had a nice lunch, was it the best Mexican that I have had and no but it was still tasty with no issues and the huge margarita with the combination offerings and service nets it 4 stars.

Fantastic first experience. Finally made it to this new location. (They also have a food truck that's usually stationed on 53rd & Lincoln).Everything was so great from the service to the food to how clean it was. We started with margaritas on the rocks- they were huge and delicious. Chips were warm and served with three different sauces in squeeze bottles. Each one of them was delicious and varied in heat. My husband had several different tacos and couldn't decide which he liked best because they were all so good: Steak with cilantro & onion, Birria, and Campechano.I went with the Fish taco- Baja style which meant it was served with red cabbage, avocado, cilantro, lime and a chipotle dressing. The fish was pan seared and it was delicious. The Chicken Enchilada was outstanding and made fresh. The Birria taco was one of the best I've had in Milwaukee. I LOVED that you can order one vs a full entree--which is also an option but I like to roll ala carte to try different things. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.Note: they also have a lunch buffet on weekdays!!

When you walk inside, it's like you have just walked into Mexico. They have Mexican music playing on the speaker and lights behind the bar. You can either sit at the bar or a table in the seating area. The waitresses don't speak very much English, but cater to you as much as they can. I had a jalapeño margarita and it was amazing ! My tacos Al pastor w corn tortillas were good, but a bit soggy which is why the 3 star. The pork chimichanga was also a bit soggy. The chicken chimichanga was much better than the pork. If you live near this place, try it on a date night !
