Taqueria Guadalajara is a very good option for Mexican food in Waukegan.I've tried them at the fair once, several times at their restaurant on Grand, a few times with their food truck in downtown Waukegan, and even had them cater to my workplace for lunch.Can't get much better than that of a review from a fella like me.The food is consistent and I've never not liked something from them.Try their authentic taste today. Don't go. Probably a Quiznos before it was this place???if looks to be a business that went under and they 'Re-Did' place.I had to pay for chips and salsa.... No way Jose I'm ever coming back as never had to pay for chips/salsa in a Mexican/Spanish restaurant. That's being cheap...Then food came. Lackluster and most likely frozen. Rice bad. Beans ok but tacos I could do better at home. - where I should of stayed!!'Servers cold and crabby.... I don't need bad attitude when trying to enjoy surroundings and paying for a nice time. Just plain grouchy servers. This place sucks. Shame on owner for not realizing this but maybe they do as charging for chips??! And charging for salsa???!

Staff was rude. I asked for water that was never brought to me. When she brought our food she didn't say anything just set it down on the table and walked away. I said thank you every time she came to the table and never received a response any time. Once our food came it was at least 30 minutes after eating that she finally checked on us..
