Taqueria Buenavista

Mediocre food...I ordered the beef quesadilla dinner, and my friend had 3 steak tacos for $3 each. Chips and salsa were served at our table, but the portions of the chips were not equivalent of that of the salsa, so I ended up consuming them all and my friend had next to none xD (not pictured). The salsa is very good though! I would not recommend using their bottles of sauce, unless you can take the heat...several hours later my stomach was definitely feeling it! Overall, I've had worse Mexican food before but it did fill me up and the meat was tender and tasty.

I can't stop thinking about these shrimp tacos! Absolutely delicious! The guys at the counter were cute and sweet and helpful. Food was fresh and hot. The sauces were and I can't wait to go back and try the lengua!

Simple vibe, fresh ingredients, and well prepared food. You can't go wrong! We stopped for a quick couple of tacos for lunch and this place didn't disappoint. Our order was ready really fast, I don't think we even waited a full 10 mins. Chicken and Al pastor tacos were super flavorful. The guac was amazing. Would definitely come back.

I love this place. It's so good and I love coming here. I love the rice. It hits the spot every time. I don't really care for the beans though.

Food is always delicious, even carry out. They are usually very quick and the portion size is huge!

If you're looking for legit Mexican food(the salsa is my fav), Taqueria BuenaVista is where it's at! I'm from LA, and every time I eat here, it feels like I'm back home in downtown Los Angeles. The flavors are so authentic, and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming--it's just a good vibe all around.Honestly, any of the bad reviews are probably from uncultured Karens who don't know what real Mexican food is. This isn't some watered-down, fake taco spot. It's the real deal, and if you know, you know. If you're craving legit tacos and that true LA taqueria feel, this place is a must!

Service was excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly. The food lacked flavor. Thankfully, their salsas were enough to cover the taste of the terrible tiny tacos.

horrible, if I could rate it 0 stars, THEN I WOULD! Coming from an actual Mexican, this place is completely terrible. my food came out cold and I had to send it back in order to receive it at a decent temperature. The food is completely bland, so dry, and just yuck. I asked for carne de asada and they gave me carne molida! which is way cheaper!! This gives a bad look to the hispanic community, call me dramatic, I don't care. This place doesn't deserve its rate. To add to it, it's pricey. I do not recommend at all. I ate less than a quarter of my plate it was just horrendous.

Food is par to subpar I would recommend most taco trucks before this place​​​​​​​​​. The workers are friendly and the chips and salsa are good if you stay to eat but it's hit or miss on the food and most times it's a miss. Oh and if you add a scoop of refried bland beans and rice that's an extra five six seven dollars.
