Buenavista is hands down my favorite tacos. The tripe is my favorite and I am so happy that it is an option. You don't have too many places that have tripas AND lengua. The food truck taste just like their restaurant. I recommend eating it ASAP because the longer it sits, the greasier it gets. I am talking grease leaking through the paper bag. I highly recommend the green hot sauce, it can be spicy depending on the batch. But it is the perfect salsa in my opinion. I believe it to be jalapenos pureed. It is creamy, thicker substance, and coats the tacos wonderfully. Don't forget to wash everything down with a horchata. This one is on the sweeter side but still worth getting as the flavors have a good balance.

Stealth FoodI love this truck outside of Home Depot. It makes it so easy to grab some quick eats while grabbing home supplies for whatever project is going on. They offer the same cheap offerings as their Burham and South Side truck. Burrito is a little lacking in filling, but should have told them how I wanted it done. Pork tostadas are the best. The nacho chips themself don't wow, but they do make great guac to order.

Please bring back the original truck that's been at this location near Home Depot on National Ave for many years! I went today, and immediately noticed it was a different truck and crew, but same business. I ordered 3 tacos, 2 chicken-Traditional and 1 chorizo-Traditional. I then said "all three Traditional". Which has always meant onions and cilantro only. What I got were three sloppy tacos with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. The previous truck and crew never messed up my order, ever. Very disappointed. Won't be back unless I see the original truck there.

I know about five people who eat at this truck and we all think it's pretty decent because the immediate surrounding area that it parks at is devoid of real Mexican food, Taco Bell on the coroner doesn't count. The one guy always mentions the nachos when the rest of us talk about burritos and tacos so what gives. I had all the intentions of a chorizo burrito when I walked up to the window until I saw nachos on that dam menu so I order them. The nachos comes with your choice of meat and ground beef would be my last choice but it seemed appropriate for nacho so that's what I got. With everything is fresh chips, seasoned ground beef, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, creamy melted cheese, jalapeños and a nice drizzle of sour creme sauce. When I opened the box the whole container was filled to the top with gorgeous looking nachos, this was impressive looking for a truck and not that I have ever had nachos from a truck before. I immediately liked the quality/freshness of the chip topped with all the fresh toppings. The ground beef stood out right away because it had great flavor and not that Taco Bell kind of flavor if you know what I mean. I liked how probably for the first time I noticed that there was a great ratio of toppings to chips with the toppings being plentiful, every chip to the end would have toppings when usually you run out of the toppings and are left with bare chips.I have not had a favorite nacho place since I moved years ago because it's just too far away but I must tell you when I have a nacho crave now I will be going to this truck. I will admit that I never order nachos when I go out for Mexican so I probably have missed out on some of Milwaukees good nachos but I'm not going start searching now when this truck has a great simple fresh offering. I now understand why the one guy always mentions the nachos and I just thought he was a knob for not getting the tacos or burritos ha ha, I will give him props next week when I talk to him.

Never leave 93rd and Greenfield on the east side of Family Dollar. We have limited food options and your are one of the best. The kids love the burritos but the chicken tacos are my fav, along with the nachos if you are feeding a crowd. Try and check your order before you leave, when its busy I think they may have mistakes. which is difficult for picky eaters.

So many people think making "simple" food is easy... it's just not. You have nothing to hide behind so it has to be done perfectly. They nailed it! Most tacos are only $2! It is a place everyone should try. They also have a restaurant on 60th street. Haven't been yet, but after the truck today there's no question I'll be going. The the tacos were jammed with really well marinated perfectly cooked meat. They are so messy to eat, bring a bib! I had the spicy salsa and that to delivered! It's the kinda place you want everyone to go to so they succeed wildly... they deserve it!

Absolutely one of the best "taco trucks" I've been to. Fortunately, they park right down the road from my old apartment! The food tastes fresh and authentic, but they also offer more mild options too. I can't even count the number of times I sent my husband there to grab us lunch or dinner. My personal favorite are pork tacos, but I've heard phenomenal things about the rest of their menu items as well. The only downside is the wait can be a bit "much" if you're on your lunch break - but that's a small price to pay to know things are being made fresh for you. In addition, make sure to park in the neighboring businesses - since they're parked on a busy street. I'm so sad that we moved and I'm not able to feast on their food as often anymore. But, now it's a treat! You love tacos, burritos, etc? Totally recommend!

Found this place by accident on my way home from Milwaukee and had to stop. Had to knock on the window 3 times to get the guys' attention but I forgive them because it was slow. Took them just a couple minutes to plate it all up.Got 3 Al Pastor tacos and beans/rice with a coke. Less than 10 bucks for a full meal, and the tacos were perfect with onion/cilantro/lime. Meat was fresh, tender, and well seasoned. Rice was a little weak but the beans were awesome too. And if you're a sauce fanatic, look no further - comes standard with 3 different sauces that were just right on the spice level. The thick green sauce was my favorite - tasted like it was made of puréed jalapeños that really set off the pork.Would totally hit this place up again. Thanks, Buenavista!
