The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazing. This place is a no-brainer for breakfast or lunch if you're in the area.

This place does not look like much from the outside and the offerings are about the most unimaginative that we have ever seen on a menu. But the service was excellent and the food was very good. I would go back and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would ask.We've eaten breakfast and lunch and both are great with larger than expected portions, so take home doggie bags are the rule, not the exception.They're one of the only places that's open early for breakfast so you can eat early, if you're like us, and know that you're going to get a good meal.

Very good breakfast! Great atmosphere. Highly encourage to grab a bit if you are wanting a good breakfast in the area. Very nice little diner off of Lake Geneva.

The only thing going for this place are the prices. I will say, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre at best. Rubbery pancakes and eggs, and flavorless sausage gravy for the biscuits. This would have been easier to overlook if it wasn't for the army of flies buzzing around our table. Landing on us and otherwise needing to be shooed for the entire time we were in the restaurant. Needless to say, hit up Egg Harbor in Lake Geneva for a much better, consistently yummy breakfast experience.

We came up to WI to adopt a cat or two, and we stopped by this hole in the wall Greasy Spoon restaurant, and the food was amazing. My family and I had a combination of lunch and breakfast and the portions were hefty. The service was great and the waitresses were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend dropping in for a quick meal, for good food and great service.

Really good, really crowded family diner. Super friendly although when we walked in with masks on my wife felt like we got the stink eye. There is apparently no masking I. The Lake Geneva area because they think Covid is over I guess ((9.4.21). Tables are close and place got picked by 9:30 on Saturday. Clearly a lot of local folks. Very good traditional breakfasts. Good iced tea. Kind of a weird set up in what had to be an old house and I did not see the back room. Like everywhere they were understaffed but the waitresses did a great job. They feature Swedish pancakes which I guess are a local thing.

The food was so good! Friendly service is always appreciated. They have a well taken care of cute small dining room. (Not a complaint) looking forward to eating here again.

I would give a zero if I could. I was sitting at a table and noticed gnats flying all around. It seemed worse when my food came out. I finally got the attention of my waitress who then informed me they had a fly catcher behind my seat. It was absolutely disgusting and I have no idea why they would have had me sit there. They offered to move me, but it was too late. There were gnats all over my food. It was absolutely disgusting and they did not offer to not charge me for the food I couldn't eat. I called a week later to complain and they left me on hold for 10 minutes so I just hung up.

Old school breakfast place with outstanding food and service. We had the French toast special with banana's and strawberry's as well as a meat lovers skillet. Both were very good. Food came out quickly. Waitresses were so helpful and friendly which made the experience so much better. Prices are ver fair. Many locals which always a good sign. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

All around five stars . Food is fresh not processed. When you order a side of fruit you don't get canned peaches you get fresh melons , berries ,& whatever else is in season. Known for Swedish pancakes , Rueben's & amazing service definitely a must stop.
