Tamara's the Cake Guru

I've never had a bad experience here, but I have a major sweet tooth. The thick frostings and fact that a lot of the cupcakes they make are filled inside with frosting and a ton on top can be a lot for an average sweets consumer even with the more sour or fruity flavored items. They also make other bakery items and beautiful custom cakes for graduations, weddings and such.It's a little more expensive for the area, but the quality of the items, freshness, and service are worth filling a box every once in awhile to treat yourself. Their pink boxes have become a recognizable object in Oshkosh!In a larger city the lack of no lot and further away street parking might be a hindrance, but being younger and able having to carry items halfway down a block hasn't impeded impulse stopping to buy. There is 1-2 spots of short term (15 min) parking in front, but every time I've been there they've been taken. The Lick the Bowl cupcake is my favorite option!

Cutest bakery I've been to in Oshkosh. The atmosphere was friendly, and there were many customers in the store. I ordered a gluten free wedding cake cupcake and it was delicious! They also had really adorable Taylor swift cookies too.

Delicious cupcakes! Stopped here after eyeing it up every time we went to New York Deli next door. It was pretty crowded (it was a Saturday afternoon), and I'm glad to see they had business. We didn't have to wait to be helped, as someone came over to us right away. She was super patient while we oohed and aahed over all the flavors and tried to narrow it down to a half dozen. We finally settled on some flavors and getting them boxed up and paid for was super easy.I don't remember all the flavors we got, though there was something chocolate, white wedding, Bavarian, and cherry cheesecake (I think)? They were all delicious. The cake was super moist, not dry, and the fillings were also well done so you got a balance of filling and cake. The frosting was good, maybe a touch sweet for me but I tend to not like super sweet frosting so it might be perfect for others. I can't remember the price for a half dozen cupcakes, though I do remember it being pretty reasonable for the quality. It isn't an everyday treat, for sure, but good value for the great cupcakes. They had so many other delicious looking offerings I can't wait to go back and try more!

Stopped today and purchased some of their buttercream sugar cookies. The frosting was delicious but the cookies, not so much. They had no flavor at all.

We were so excited to stop by for a treat. The place was empty and still they rushed our order. Gave the shortest possible answers to our questions and we're rude while doing it. The cupcakes weren't even that good and the coffee was bad. Just skip it.

These folks care about their bakery. Always creating new Sunday's, cupcakes, donuts, ice cream and coffee. The staff is positive and ready to help! The Cherry Chip Dippees are to die for.Huge fan

There's a lot of room for improvement in Tamara's cupcakes and dessert offerings. Although beautiful, they were bland and not worth the calories nor price.

Fantastic pastry treats. I took them to my customer and they were impressed. Everything was delicious.

Stopped by to purchase Birthday treats (mini cupcakes). I was charged twice the posted price. When I brought this to the cashiers attention (who could see the sign from where they were standing) they would not change the price to the displayed price. They just said that the sign was incorrect. I ended up cancelling the entire transaction.This was my first time vising Tamara's and it will definitely be my last.

Tamara's Bakery made a delicious cake for my Mother's 100th birthday and decorated it beautifully with her favorite flowers, peonies, made out of red icing. The cake was SO lovely! It was the highlight of our celebration. Thank you so much!!
