Tamales Diana

Still really like the food here, but dropping to 4 stars because they aren't doing delivery apps anymore.Now, I get why small businesses would not want to be on those apps. But for whatever reason the restaurant will not contact the app to remove their listing. So the customer has no idea their order isn't being accepted. In the app it charges you and starts processing your order, and never updates. A driver was even sent there and ended up in an argument with their staff who told them they don't accept online orders.

My husband and I both ordered a pork tamale and oh my goodness the pork Tamales are huge and they are not dry but very tender and flavorful! I have never had better tamales!!! Will be back for sure! My husband also ordered the skirt steak burrito suizo and it was huge and looked / tasted amazing!I ordered two asada tacos Mexican style and they were very flavorful! The meat was chewy but not in a bad way! So glad we came here for lunch today!

I have had good tamales here. Both their regular tamales and the Oaxacan tamles are good. My favorite is there Oaxacan style tamales. They are delicious. The difference between this style and the regular tamales is that the Oaxacan style are made with banana leaf while the regular ones are in a corn husk. They make a few different varieties of tamales (pork in red sauce, chicken in green sauce, peppers w/ cheese, etc.) but not all kinds are available at all the times. The last few times I have called them for tamales, they have not had Oaxacan tamales. :-(I like their tacos too. In this recent visit, I had their goat tacos. They were really good. I thought the meat would taste gamy but it didn't. They were the special of the day (on a Sunday) and the taste was on point. Aside from their tacos and tamales, I have only had their nopales quesadilla at Lake County fair which was da bomb.I like this place and would here again. I am due for another visit as I write this since I haven't had their Oaxacan style tamales in a while. Check them out.

I love tamales! With this restaurant having a four star rating I book marked it a few years ago. It just so happened my wife and I had errands to run and this was in the right location at the right time. I ordered three tamales, with rice and beans. What a disappointment! Three very soggy, bland, pork tamales. They were like a wet sock in bland red sauce. The beans and rice were sub par.My wife had the trio, tamale, taco, quesadilla. She wasn't impressed. Neither of us finished our plate. Service was poor.Won't be back

Just got tamales for carry out. All tasted good to us but pretty salty.

I can't assign stars because they are never open! I've been there in the afternoon, early evening, closed...always closed.

Ordered tamales and tasted really bad, super dry chicken and the masa was crumbling apart . Ordered agua de horchata, and it was super watered down. Needs work

Called to order food and someone picked up hung up right away. Called again and a guy answered really angry and then hung up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.Llame para ordenar y contestaron y colgaron . Volví a llamar y un hombre contestó bien enojado y dijo "bueno!" And luego "puta madre" y colgó. Do not support this business .

Delicious Tamales! Ordered for a group at work and was pretty impressed. The people working were very kind. The tamales were fresh and flavorful and moist, especially the red pork tamales. Overall happy I found somewhere close so I don't have to drive to the city.

Kinda on the expensive side for food that's not to par. Last visit I had two tamales and they were room temperature. And today found a roach and there is one there is many.
