I was in charge of bringing the stuffing this year 2022-Whew! Paid $100 for 2 (two) 1/4 sheets worth of T-giving stuffing-- my problem was not asking the price for 1- looks like a nice group of people-- kitchen area was clean-- we'll see what the verdict is tomorrow

Ordered catering for Thanksgiving this year - figured why not, nothing else is the same! I'd had their meals at Ruby Tap and enjoyed them so I thought that would be a safe choice. I chose prix fixe for four people. We chose to do ham, classic stuffing, maple carrots, pimento mac and cheese and rolls. The menu said mashed potatoes/gravy and salad were included in this choice. Pickup was pretty slick, not many cars in the queue and employees had all food pre-boxed up and ready to go. I drove the 25 minutes over there, got my box, and drove the 25 minutes home. Then I noticed that they omitted my salad. I called them and they said I could drive back out there for the salad... so I did. (in total i spent 100 minutes in the car going back and forth to get the food. On the day of thanksgiving we realized that they gave us the wrong stuffing as well. The ham was measured out by pound and we got 2 lbs for four people - which would have been fine if 60% of it wasn't fat! We ended up putting more in the dog bowl than on our plates. The reheating instructions stated that we needed to put all the food in the oven covered to reheat it, and they gave us paper lids??? So then I had to use a bunch of foil to cover all the items. The mac and cheese (which is made with penne?) had no pimentos in it (i figured the red pimentos would be easy to see) but it didn't get any love as it was BONE dry pasta noodles. Bummer. The mashed potatoes, [forgotten] salad, and carrots were good, though the carrots were devoid of any maple flavors. For $200 we all just expected more. Just another case of restaurants over-selling to the point of mixing up too many things. I probably wouldn't order from them again.

Nina and the Tall guy team were amazing!!! Wedding food isn't always the greatest, but Tall Guy killed it. Most of our guests were not from the Midwest, and we really loved that they sourced from local farmers, focusing on food that screams Wisconsin. We did buffet service and they served our kings table family style without hesitation, it really allowed us to eat and mingle when everyone had their food. We did a late night popcorn bar, but option to do! They had the cutest popcorn boxes, which made it really easy for me to dance and snack away! The last week before the wedding we had a few modifications to table sizes and counts, Nina really dealt with our stress in the best way possible. Than you guys so much for making our day amazing. They are also LGBTQ friendly!

We were in Wisconsin for a wedding and they were the caterers. Incredible staff, I have never had to turn away food! They are friendly, attentive, and the food was amazing. The bacon Mac and cheese bites are to die for.The meatballs with your signature sauce was almost better than the entree itself! The garlic mashed potatoes were my favorite part of the meal, and the chicken was so tender I went for seconds.I would like to specifically point out Fiona. She was who I saw most of the night and she wasn't just nice, she was funny, personable and just awesome to see around. She's exactly who you want to work those kind of events.I wish you did events outside of Wisconsin! I'd book you!

This was probably the best and easiest vendor we worked with for our wedding. They communicate so thoroughly and really help build your wedding menu. We advised them of serious nut allergies at the very beginning and they made sure to help us build the menu based on this to prevent any possible reactions among our guests. Most of my family has nut allergies so it is a huge concern for us. They also did great modifying meals to fit other dietary restrictions that we mentioned on our rsvp cards. They left my husband and I plates of the passed apps at our dinner table so we could enjoy them when we were finally seated since we didn't get to have any during cocktail hour. One of my guests loved the mashed potatoes so much she asked if there was extra and they came back to her with a huge plate of leftovers. I loved hearing that they didn't waste them and worked hard to make my guests happy. Our coordinator Sophie stopped during the service to introduce herself and make sure we had everything we needed. Truly incredible experience working with them. The tasting was great and they gave us leftovers. they also offer the chance to order additional appetizers before the wedding to try if you change your mind about your selection. You can order them to go and they recommend a bar in the area to go to and enjoy them with a cocktail. I would recommend them 100% to anyone planning an event. We also went to a wedding for a friend that used them as a caterer and they said the same thing about their experience. They planned their wedding from California but hosted it in Milwaukee so having reputable vendors was so important for them. They were excited to hear we had the same caterer knowing that no matter what we served it would be high quality and delicious. They also gifted us a bottle of their own BBQ sauce at the end of the night and left it in our hotel room for us. I almost wish to redo this whole experience to have their short ribs again!

Wow! Never heard of them before, but they are definitely on my radar now. Their Mother's Day carry out brunch was a huge hit with our whole family! Best quiche we have ever had, with a creamy filling and perfect thin crust. Very easy communication and pick up was a breeze. The food was beautifully organized and garnished, with heating instructions customized for our order. Loved the choice of items and feel it was an excellent value in quantity and especially quality. Only change I'd make would be to double our order, because we had zero leftovers! We're just incredibly grateful to them for a wonderful and happy Mother's Day feast during these crazy times.

I recently had Tall Guy and a Grill cater for a surprise birthday party. They were super easy to work with and everything was set up and ready to go on time. We ordered the taco bar and everyone at the party raved about it - several people stated that it was the best brisket they've ever had and many more asked who the caterer was. All of the food was delicious and I will definitely use Tall Guy again if I need anything catered in the future!
