Food was good. Service: had to remind server several times for water. Bill: charged me twice for hot tea @ 3.49 each. Asked them to correct bill & they overcharged me on tax. I had my calculator to show them & they still overcharged me. I'll not go back.

Finally got to check out Tacos El Notte Gurnee. I personally have to say I like this one more compared to the lake bluff one. So, let me get into it! The food was definitely much different than the lake bluff one. The menu was much better and had more options for sure. I got the taco bowl and I have to say it was really worth it! I felt satisfied and full after eating it! My co work got the 3 taco dinner and he pointed out that has tortillas were dry and hard. The service was good. Our waitress checked in with us often which I liked! The atmosphere really reminded me of restaurants that I visited when I was in Mexico! I really loved the decor! Overall, I would say check TENG if you want to try a very good menu!

I recently visited tacos El Norte because I was given a gift card for my birthday. I decided to bring the kids with me. The kids enjoyed their food. My burrito was okay. The burrito wasn't rolled well and I basically had to eat it like a giant taco. The sauces seemed watered down. They had a pretty good horchata and the service was really good. Our waitress checked on us a few times to make sure we were good and didn't need anything else.

The food was disappointing to say the least. I had a barbacoa taco (not pictured) and it was bland. Got a milanesa torta and it was also bland. My friend had the menudo and she said it was not tasty she couldn't even eat it. Our server almost charged us $20 extra so make sure to check your bill..... the music stopped halfway through and our waitress really didn't check up on us. Pretty disappointing visit.

Just went food was terrible. Tortillas weren't cooked my fluta was burnt and stale my friends food didn't come with the right ingredients and didn't taste good and the tortillas were also super dry . The pina coladas had huge chunks of ice and couldn't drink them and the water taste like sink water so disappointing

One of my favorite place for Mexican food! Their food is always good. I've tried a couple of things but I always go for their steak tacos. Service is really quick depending how busy they are but I never have an issue. Sometimes they play music, which is always a good vibe!

Tacos el Norte Gurnee catered our party for 75 people. the order arrived early, the order was 100% correct, the delivery team helped setup the food, the food was piping hot and delicious. Everyone loved the food and the party was a great success. I will definitely order catering from Tacos el Norte in Gurnee again!

Nope. Nope. Nope. Salsa and chips are not complimentary. You have to pay for them! The salsa is canned, not fresh. Tacos, lettuce cheese and tomato. How is this authentic? And for the carne or platos they don't even have cebollitas, the authentic green ones. They brought me a yellow onion that was sautéed.

The previous week, I joined a few friends for lunch. one of my friends ordered tacos that looked so great that we went back the following week and all of us ordered them. When they came to the table, we were so disappointed. they were on different shells. There was hardly any meat or other regular fixings. we said something to the waitress but she didn't say anything. We said we wouldn't be back. No answer. So inconsistent! Needless to say, we left there still hungry.

I love this tacos, del Norte I feel all of them have good food, but this one is definitely the classiest and nicest one. I had great service with great food. me and my wife truly enjoyed the fajita, and, as an appetizer we had ( shrimp queso fundido) I think this is the only tacos del Norte that serves us it was so so good can't wait to go back
