Staff very nice and friendly. Great Ambiance. Location very clean. Queso delicious. I had barbacoa nacho supreme. Not sure how I feel about the food. Meat wasn't very favorable. I will give it another try.

I tend to avoid authentic Mexican restaurants because I'm picky and not a fan of dishes that are heavy on ingredients like peppers, onion, tomato, cilantro, and beans. Moe's Southwest Grill was always my go to as a fast casual Mexican restaurant because I could easily work around those ingredients, but unfortunately the only location in the Milwaukee area closed earlier in 2024. Taco Pros is new to the Milwaukee area and fast casual like Moe's, so I gave them a try for lunch. I ordered a steak burrito with no tomato or avocado and substituted rice for the beans. I also got chips and queso.There's a small chain of taco food trucks in the Menomonee Falls/Germantown/Butler area that opened around 2020 called El Taco Feliz. When I was working from home I would stop once a week and get their steak burrito as it was the best I found close to my house. As time went on, the quality lessened. The steak became more gristley and the burrito very greasy. The steak burrito I got from Taco Pros reminded me of the early days of El Taco Feliz. Quality steak that isn't full of gristle and excellent flavor from first bite to last without being saturated in grease.As much as I loved the burrito from Moe's, the queso was the best part of stopping there. I could eat it every day and never get sick of it. Thankfully, the queso at Taco Pros is nearly identical to Moe's queso. Even though Moe's made their chips in house and the chips from Taco Pros seem like they're out of a bag, I prefer Taco Pros chips because Moe's chips were inconsistent with the amount of salt and could often be stale depending on when they were made.

My main issue was the fact that I got food poisoning..which I now unfortunately have to take a few days off because of. Other than that though honestly it was good, the service was awesome! Very polite, quick, and accurate with my order. I didn't get to dine in but for the time I was in there the place was very clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Not amazing, not bad. The Mexican style tacos are full to the brim with protein, onion and cilantro. So no skimping there. The red and green sauces are flavorful and hot so that's a nice have as well considering it's WI! Beans are blended and decent. The rice is fairly clean and also not exploding with flavor but again, not bad. The vibe of the place is a brand new setup and bright/clean. I had to wait for someone to come from the back to take my order which was weird because I wasn't sure how long I would have to stand there. The price is pretty stiff considering after tip it was like 18 bucks for 3 tacos, beans and rice... This place isn't replacing taco trucks any time soon but it's a decent stand in if you can't land the real deal. I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm not blown away but it's ok for what it is even though a touch too expensive. I'm still going to prefer a great taco truck over this place but again, not mad at it!

Fresh authentic tacos ! I really enjoy the fast service , inside is very clean. I've done pickup orders and each time my order has been correct and fresh.

Food is pretty ordinary but OK. Online ordering requires you to create an account: 1 star deduction. They never answer the phone to take carry out orders: 1 star deduction. The online ordering prices are more expensive than in the store: one star deduction. The tacos are VERY small for the price and compared to other taco places at the same price: 1 star deduction.Can't recommend this place.

If you're looking for a quick bite of Mexican food, Taco Pros is the place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The owner noticed we were a bit too warm and explained the issues with heating while one of the staff turned off the heat. To the reviews complaining about the lack of authenticity, I would say the food was fairly comparable to places you'd find in south side Milwaukee. One of the servers offered to bring out some rice and beans for my baby because he noticed I was feeding him. Now to the food itself, I have only ever ordered the taco platter with steak, pork and Barbacoa. But honestly, what more do you need? It's soooo good and always comes but two salsas. The meat is perfectly seasoned and the tortillas are soft. Overall I throughly enjoy Taco Pros and will likely return often!

My husband and I ordered take out (tacos for him, protein bowl for me). 2 days ago and we've both had food poisoning. We won't be back.

Ordered a quesadilla and paid extra to add chicken and they didn't add it. Disappointing they didn't read my order correctly.

The nachos were very loaded! They guacamole was really good and full of flavor. I would definitely get them again. The only downside is that half of the chips on my plate were super salty. If they could lessen the salt, I would have given 5 stars.The steak tacos were very comparable to steak tacos in authentic Mexican restaurants. The pork taco was good but there was some sort of seasoning that was strong and overpowering. I wouldn't get the pork tacos again. It would have been nice to get limes with my tacos but I didn't ask either. The people were friendly and I would go back but for now, the steak is where it's at!!
