We ordered delivery from here last night, our first experience with the place, but it won't be our last. I was happily surprised by it. Had heard a few negative things, but decided to give it a try anyway since we didn't want pizza, didn't want to cook, and didn't want to leave the house. We ordered the pan fried potstickers (homemade, chock full of meat, delicious); the Szechuan string beans (good flavor and true technique, but a tiny bit under cooked); the eggplant with garlic sauce (my favorite dish when I lived in Beijing; it could have been better as the eggplant wasn't as tender as it should be, but the flavor was pretty spot on); the shredded duck with Cantonese noodles (definitely something outside the normal Chinese menu repertoire, and worth it; tons of duck meat, and flavor); and lastly the house moo shu (decent, with a good deal of all the meats). We got a quart of white rice (no charge) to accompany everything. Altogether it was a little on the pricey side, with tax and delivery fee it totaled $60, but I'm not complaining; the portion sizes were huge!! We'll get three meals or more out of this for the two of us. The delivery time quote was pretty spot on, and the food was packed very nicely and still very hot! The sauce packets were put in a little bag, as were the portion cups of sauces for each dish. The overstuffed eggplant container was wrapped in a plastic bag so as not to leak, and there were cardboard supports throughout the bag. I've never seen such care placed in a food delivery package!! They also threw in a handful of fortune cookies and a free order of almond cookies too. Only thing missing were the chopsticks, and I think I can get over that since I have my own. TLDR: worth it when the Chinese craving hits you and you don't want to brave the outdoors.

Szechwan Palace was always known for hit-or-miss featuring projectile vomiting. Now... under new ownership, they have elevated their game by bait-and-switch to refuse lunch-special pricing to restricted times. In truth, it's a gift to remind us that food that results in projectile vomiting should be avoided... discounted or otherwise.

Our go to place for Sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. Very fast service and incredibly tasty dishes. Take out only and parking can be tricky during busy times but the food is worth the minor inconvenience. Definitely worth a stop.

Does anybody know if this place has changed hands recently? When we ordered and picked up food today it felt like we were at a different place and the food wasn't as good as what we are used to.

We like this place. The people are friendly and they deliver! The food is decent. It's not the best but it's good and hot and the portion sizes are great. Always comes with the classic white rice, fortune cookies, almond cookies, and sauces.

Projectile vomiting and massive diarrhea. How bad does something have to be before the word spreads?

This is what I got for exchange for $50 in food. I normally go to the place in Spring Grove they give way bigger portions and the food has way better flavor. I asked for everything to be spicy and it taste like there's hardly any seasoning on any of the food at all. I will no longer order from this place. I have been scammed

If you like onions only in your food then order the Currie shrimp. That's all your getting is onions in some kind of tasteless brown sauce.I called to ask and they said that's all that's in it except the shrimp of course. I have never had a dish from any Chinese restaurant that you only got onions. Then I asked to please check that the order was made properly because it was not curry and all I got was an answer back it was made right! I told them it was terrible. Will never go back!
