Szechwan Palace

Hard to find good Asian food in this area, but after trying the others, Szechwan Palace seems like the best one. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the orders are filled quickly.

Delicious food, portions were just right, service was excellent, and nice atmosphere too. Give them a try!

Let's start by sharing that I have passed this restaurant more times than I can count and the out front look was always the reason why I wouldn't stop here along with so many negative reviews, which I would disagree based on my experience...that said, today was the day I gave it a try to see it for myself...let's start by remembering ourselves to not judge a book by it's cover ...this is a true hidden gem, so don't let the outside fool you or keep you from coming here ...food was DELICIOUS, prices are super reasonable for what you get overall!!!, place is small but mighty..service is great, cute small location with take out as well. Staff is super patient and attentive to your needs. Lavatory I did not visit so I cannot comment. My overall experience was great!! If you're in the area and looking for some yummy food with great service, then this is the place to chow down!!!! Highly recommend.

Healthy portions. Attentive service. I'd take out the six gaming units and add more tables. Would feel more like a restaurant- a relaxing one. The food however made up for it. I had my favorite dish which was pad Thai noodles. Excellent spice.

Don't let the older reviews keep you from giving Szechwan Place a try. New owners are very nice and after trying several dishes I would have to say this is now our favorite Chinese Food in the greater Antioch, IL area. BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Beef and Green Pepper (Pepper Steak), Hunan Chicken and Egg Rolls are favorites so far.

Always the best Chinese fast food in lake county, never been disappointed with this place

Its been a while since I had ordered, we used to LOVE it, but ordered yesterday for 3 of us and none of us liked it. The eggrolls were almost like pastry with rice in it. The portions were good size, but the taste wasnt great. Will not be back. Was looking forward to it all day and was let down. Not everyone has the same tastes, but 3 of 3 tells me its the food.

When we moved to the area we tried so many places but none were that good. That was until we got food here. They haven't disappointed one time! Food is always as ordered and always very delicious!! This is the only place we got now!!

Everytime we order from Szechwan Palace, it is a great experience.Food is delicious, orders are always correct, staff are extremely friendly, prices are reasonable.Overall, Highly Recommended
