Located in the small town of Monroe Wisconsin,Swiss Colony is the catalog outlet for various items at great prices. They offer a variety of cheeses,sausages,jellies,candies,pastries and much much more. Inventory changes frequently. Plenty of parking. Closed on Sundays.

If you are in the area you can pick up Swiss Colony cheese and other goodies at a good price. Well stocked and staffed.

Definitely worth a visit if you are a cheese lover. They have a wide variety of cheeses in all varieties , spreads, slices, chunks, and variety packs. They also have candy, jams and other items. Adjacent to the cheese store is a store with vintage items, antiques , toys, clothes and a wide variety of items. Plan on stopping in again when in the area.

We have always ventured into Swiss Colony when passing through Monroe. Cheese, chocolate, and a huge area for random catalog goods? Yes, please. They used to have an abundance of samples but this has tapered off, likely because the costs are too low to make samples worth it. It sounds a bit gross, but their cheese fudge (like chocolate cheesecake) is amazing, as are their chocolate petite fours, cheese curds and Brie cheese. The problem with many items are that they are not properly labeled so you have no clue what you are buying. For example, we purchased what a worker called chocolate petite fours today for a party and later discovered that they are maple filled. Bleh. In addition, their spreads have a very processed and odd flavor. The area of the store next to the dairy goods are so random but you can pick up a winner. Toys for kids, comforter sets, blackout curtains, mirrors, couches, sandboxes, dresses...everything. We got a cute stuffed cat for our kiddo and it was inexpensive and very soft. The service is friendly and prices cheap but not labeled in a helpful manner. We will co tongue to come here for the aforementioned items but as with any outlet, it can be hit or miss. Worth a stop in, though. Get in here, cheese heads!

Ordered over phone...people did not speak english well...ordered arrived but not what we ordered...charged double to our credit card...nightmare to correct as phone help did not speak english well...no more orders for us for swiss colony... sc must be having serious mgmt issues...
