This is a must go to breakfast spot. I am from Houston, the foodie capital of the US. I am a foodie and have a food blog, @whatdocordered. I come here for business and this is likely the best breakfast spot restaurant I have ever been to. I sit at the bar and watch all this gorgeously prepared foo come from the kitchen and sit before me and everything is beautifully prepared. They PUMP out food while maintaining HIGH quality. I had to make contact with the guys in the kitchen with a thumbs up to let them know they were doing a stellar job. He gave me a thumbs up back. I very rarely eat bacon but this bacon is quality, thick and perfectly cooked with just the correct firmness. I had to order some. The service is excellent. My waitress Holly served me one day and when I showed up the next day she wasn't my server but yelled out 'Hey Kev, how are you doing?' As she scurried past. TThe atmosphere is lively but not too loud. It very clean and has a modern decor. Overall, it is a wonderful pick me up for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Now, all this does come with a price. It may be the most expensive breakfast place I've visited in some time. But given the quality of the food, service cleanliness it is all worth it.

It was a cold, clear, sunny day and I *needed* gluten free pancakes (ideally without cooking them myself). SweetDiner offered all kinds of gluten friendly goodies! The menu has sweet AND savory options for people pining for breakfast and lunch classics. I couldn't decide between sweet and savory, so I ordered the grilled cheese and a single buttermilk pancake. Yum!I left feeling fully satisfied. The service was OKAY. The server did the basics of taking our order and bringing it to us. We had to track someone down to get to-go boxes and the check. As this was our first time here, I'm not sure if this is the standard or an off-day. Regardless, I would definitely come back for a yummy gluten free meal!

Great for breakfast / brunch. Food was excellent and service was great. We had a group of six and tried several things: Fiesta Tacos, Berry Blast Pancakes, Western Omelet,Veggie Omelet and the Meat lovers Skillet. All were superb. We will be back.

Food was really good and the ambiance was great. Did not like that we had to go inside to get on the waitlist rather than add it ourselves on Yelp. The service was NOT good. It took nearly 30 minutes for the server to take our order and then we watched him take three orders who were sat after us. When we brought this to another server's attention, we overheard him say "yea I know". No apology or acknowledgement. He never asked how our food was and took a while to bring back a clean fork so I could actually eat. By that point my eggs were cold and I was so hungry I just ate them. We will give it another go as the food was pretty good, but hopefuly we get another server. Oh! If you are a mimosa person, ask for a glass of champagne and have them add a splash of juice to it. The mimosa ordered as a mimosa was ALL juice.

Came in at 1 on a Sunday. It was the shortest wait out of many places in MKE. Only 30 minutes since there is lots of seating. Food came out pretty quick and our server was nice. The place was very busy but slowed down by 2. You could order cafe drinks before getting seated as well. Very popular brunch place downtown.

We are visiting from Alabama and found this spot on a whim for brunch. Holy cow- it was amazing! We were quickly seated at a booth that comfortable fit six adults. We all ordered a variety of things. My lavender latte was so good. I had eggs Benedict and it was luscious and creamy. Everyone loved the fried potatoes and they are the best side!!The server was stellar and I would love to go back!

I really only had a few items here (pancakes and a peach mimosa) and they were really good. Just one peach Mimosa had me leaning at breakfast time, so whoever is making drinks there does a good job. Beautiful atmosphere too. I'd go back.

SweetDiner is a classic brunch place in the Historic Third Ward in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There's a parking lot nearby that's free on the weekends and it's close to the Milwaukee Public Market. They take Apple Pay as well.The menu has a good variety of sweet and savory breakfast foods and a small latte menu. They use high quality and fresh ingredients, which is evident in the taste of the food. The crepes, waffles, or pancakes are a must try - the presentation of all the dishes are immaculate. Our waitress mixed up our orders at first but was very careful with allergies. Our food came out pretty fast and the service was good.The ambiance in this restaurant can be described as classy. It's a good place for a first date or to meet up with a friend that likes to take Instagram pictures and eat good food. The dishes are a bit expensive but the portion size and taste are worth it. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area!

The reviews are spot on. Everything about this diner is spectacular! My hostess was super and answered all my questions when deciding what to order. I upgraded to premium fruit, so good. The egg white spinach omelette was out of this world! Coffee delicious too. The next time I visit Milwaukee, the Sweet Diner will be on the list of stops.

Great brunch spot! Very short wait, quick and attentive service from Aydee! We had a couple salads and a veggie hash, plus the berry crepes for a sweet treat. the food was AMAZING! The restaurant has a great vibe, very open floor plan, simple decor, and cozy lighting. Will definitely come back soon!
