Sweet Dreams Burger & Custard Shoppe

I don't know if I can say enough positive things about this place. We were looking randomly for a place to eat using yelp and we settled on this place. It has a cozy little diner feel and is kept very clean and organized. I was kind of skeptical thinking it would be like every other "diner" I've ever been to. But i can honestly say I was very pleasantly disappointed in that aspect. Food was absolutely amazing, burgers were big and juicy, fries were nice and crisp but yet fluffy in the middle and the cheese sticks (more like cheese logs) were wrapped in wonton wrappers and the cheese was nice and creamy. The staff was very friendly and they interacted with me and my family very nicely. Another thing that caught me off guard, but was very please with, is that they don't use corporate soda fountains such as Coke or Pepsi but they use locally made sodas and they taste amazing. I will definitely be eating here again in the future and will be suggesting them to everyone I know. They definitely hit it out of the park and did an amazing job.

Went on a Saturday night around 530pm. Please was moderately full when we ordered.Our food took 50 minutes! Around the 40min mark one employee made an announcement that they're very busy and had two call-ins and that new orders would be about 20min, which could not be accurate. Typically for such a long wait you'd expect a comp of some sort like a free cone or something, but that wasn't offered.Aside from the horrendous wait time, the food was just good (about 7/10) and the kids meal was overpriced at almost $10 for two chicken tenders, fries and small soda.The gyro was pretty sad. The meat seems like it's from frozen versus hand cut off a slab based on the shape and texture.All of their food is more than Kopps, Oscars or Culver's would charge, so unless you're making a day of being downtown, I see no reason to ever pick them again.

Overall a 6/10 for food. We were looking for burgers that would be a semi quick experience. Wed never been here before but enjoyed the atmosphere and the multiple options. Burgers were streamed and my husband sad you could tell. Waffle fries were amazing! We also got churros which were very good. Not a favorite for the area but still a solid meal!

The service was great and the food was just as spectacular! The ambiance was fun for everyone young and old. We will definitely return!!
