Sweet Basil

We ordered carryout Perch dinners this past Friday. The food was fantastic. Even the French fries remained crispy and tender. The portions are very generous and the clam chowder was terrific.I highly recommend Sweet Basil. The service, food and decor are all very, very nice. Plymouth is lucky to have such a great, local restaurant.

I have eaten at Sweet Basil many times. it was my favorite restaurant in our area. i hadn't been there in a while and wanted to treat my significant other to a delicious meal. the food was delicious but the service was terrible. it was a friday night and they were not busy. the bar service was slow and not attentive. we sat for dinner at 6:30 and waited an hour and a half to get our food. i ordered scallops and i got 3 on a small bed of risotto for $37. we will not be back and it was very disappointing

The service was good and the only reason I'm giving this place two stars. Seated quick and drinks came fast however, the food was not good. I ordered the salmon and it was very over cooked, the grill marks we're more or less burnt fish. I did the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, the amount of bacon and cheese on them made them almost too salty to eat. I'm an out of towner, but won't be spending $50 on a meal here again. Fanciest place in Plymouth, but not worth the money.

Big restaurant with indoor outdoor dining and a friendly bar. They kept the restaurant open do you accommodate our party of 12. Sarah our waitress could not be any better. They made us feel right at home. Artichoke dip was a stand out. The seared scallops delicious. Even the crème brûlée was surprisingly good. They have a Zinfindel which was very reasonable and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their dishes not one complaint.

Food was horrible had the chicken Parmesian was a waste of $20 the sauce was bland the breading saggy. My friend pay $40 for the steak and wasn't impressed asked for medium rare it wasn't medium rare. Would never eat there again and I was shocked with all the good reviews I've heard.

Went out to dinner with coworkers and ended up here per one of their recommendations. I have to say they have a pretty impressive little menu. Even though there aged strip steak sounded great I defaulted to the meat loaf which was described as having a variety of meats in it like prosciutto and sausage with cheese stuffed inside served with rosemary garlic potatoes and greens. This meal was very good, the portion size was large and they had a good mixture of flavors that brought the whole dish together. While the plate was complete, it was not totally exceptional, the meet loaf did not taste like it had all those meats and cheeses in it as the sausage seemed to be the overwhelming flavor. For this reason I would rate this restaurant at 4 stars as it is above average. The mood inside was inviting, they had a great selection of wines, and the staff knew there stuff and were excited to be there and help you with anything you needed. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone of you in the area who are looking for a good place to eat.

Nice place and nice people. I ordered their lasagna. It was really salty, and I like salt. The bread they bring out are in small cubes, without much taste. No salad with a dinner. I preferred Angelo's, where I went yesterday.

Great Italian restaurant in Wisconsin nearby Elkhart Lake very good spot nice Road American close by . Fine bar! Even good looking deserts! Great service with Dave and TV @ the Bar , active bar area. The Balsamic dressing fantastic!

Exceptional food! The service is amazing. Ask for Sara to be your server! You won't be disappointed!

We went for dinner with another couple who had been to SB before. We met in the well stocked bar for a cocktail before heading to the table. Dinner was excellent (try the Walleye) and the service was exceptional.
