Suzy's Steak & Seafood House

Met up with another couple here on an early Saturday night. We called the day before for a reservation, and our preferred time was granted. My expectations were exceeded!We dined in one of the front, right-side dining rooms. Our dining room wasn't huge and so the acoustics were perfect for visiting over dinner. One of my dining companions said she was glad we weren't seated in the "big room" as it seemed much louder.The table started out with Fried Pickles appetizer. The spears were cool and crisp with a light fried crunchy ouside. It was served with a side of ranch. Probably the best fried pickles I have ever tried. The table was also served a mini-relish tray with a tiny scoop of crab dip (so yummy) with a small splattering of carrots, celery and crackers. We approve!Entrees of sauteed scallops and an early-bird Prime Rib followed. Both were fresh and perfectly cooked. Would definitely order again.Our server was excellent at her job, and we really felt "taken care of " We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and ambiance.

This was right across the way from our hotel. Recommend reservations on the weekend, it gets packed. Nice holiday decorations in a rustic decor. A unique experience as there is never a dirty table, bussers are cleaning and clearing tables as soon as someone leaves. This includes help from a manager who is not afraid to get her hands dirty and help out and direct her staff. We were there for a Saturday night prime rib special and we like that we could get a small 10 oz. since we weren't too hungry. Baked potato was delicious as well. I think it was a broccoli cheese soup I had that I enjoyed. Service was great too.

Their pork and pasta (especially the cheese pasta!!! We all loved it) were actually so good! I also liked the soup and bread very much. But we might not recommend their beef, which might be too "common". The ambiance was cozy and well decorated. Anyway, this can be a good place to have dinner after a whole-day snowboarding!

We love the up North feel of this restaurant. We are repeat customers. We always have such great service. This visit I enjoyed a whole rack of ribs. I always want some for leftovers. My husband and I both had the clam chowder. It is in our top 5 favorites. The old fashions are reasonably priced and are delicious. I always have two. We will be back for ribs and drinks soon.

We came here for our fire department Christmas. There was a lot going on and I appreciate the stuff being mostly on top of things. To streamline the process it would have been easier to have some jars of salad dressings on the table instead of filling little individual cups for us all. This part took the longest and we stared at our salad for a long time. The food tasted great. Mine was a tad on the cooler side but understandable since they wanted to serve us all at the same time. Overall I was impressed. I'm glad I didn't have to pay the bill. Some of the items on the menu seemed a bit overpriced.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. This place is Awesome! Easily my favorite place to go out for a nice meal.

This our first time at Suzy's last Saturday night. We had a drink at the bar and commented how nice the "cabiny" theme was. We were seated right on time in one of the back rooms. Our waitress never introduced herself and asked if we were ready to order immediately, no drink, no appetizers. Which we wanted both. Our drinks and food came out in a timely manner. After dinner we asked about dessert drinks because we didn't see them on the drink menu. Her reply was "we have ice cream and we have alcohol " no explanations, no suggestions.... It was clear she wanted us out of that table as soon as possible and we were taking up too much of her time. Overall we did we did not feel welcome at Suzy's.

It's the best restaurant for a nice dinner in the area for sure. Very good food and service with a neat and clean ambiance, and the bar area is also pleasant and separate. The people are friendly and helpful.Their steaks and seafood are exceptional, but the other menu items are also very good. Love their pan seared scallops. They also have separate rooms that large parties can reserve.
