Sussex Bowl

Visited the Sussex Bowl & Sports Bar many times in the last couple months. I highly recommend visiting. I have seen families, parties, and youth sports teams gathering in the spacious restaurant area. The bar is spacious U shape, plenty of seating, high top bar tables, plenty of large TV's for sports and UFC fights. This is a clean place, plenty of clean restrooms. Smiles and attentive service top notch. The food is absolutely delicious, portions are big and just a short wait to your table. Pizza, burgers, battered Perch, Walleye, Cod, Chicken Cor Don Bleu just to name a few. Sussex Bowl offers Volleyball leagues, bags, pool, bowling all in one place. Lots of parking! Try it out, it may become your favorite spot! Did I mention Extreme Bingo on Wednesday night, Kareoke and more. This is not your loud music banging, rude help, dirty kitchen, or stand in line for a drink kind of place. Thank you SussexBowl for your high regard to the community and customers!

If you're not a local, I wouldn't come here. This was my first time here as my family and I just moved to the area, and we were pretty disappointed. They have a great setup with bowling, an arcade, and a large bar and dining area, but the service left much to be desired. Zack was our bartender and he treated us like we were a burden to him and none of the other employees were very friendly either. Also, they stopped honoring their drink specials in the middle of the night (around 11:30pm) and charged us $8.00 for a rail vodka soda. For a bowling alley in rural Wisconsin, that seems pretty steep. They play different music in the bar area than they do in the bowling area, and you can hear both if you're sitting at the tables by the bowling lanes, which was a bit annoying. The overall atmosphere of this establishment was unwelcoming and cold, and I would recommend finding somewhere else to bowl if you're looking for a fun night.

Omg. I have lived here for 2 decades and this still sucks. The bartenders walk over dollars to talk to nickels. See you in another 3 years when the next management staff pulls their head out of their proverbial ass.

My son is bowling here today. People are nice and organized. Food smells good but haven't eaten it yet. One thing I wish all bowling would for Bowling Matches is away to see the kids bowl. Only a few chairs per lane and it's hard to see around the kids when they are bowling. Thank you to the bowling alley, staff and couches for allowing our kids bowl. I love watching them high five each other and having fun.:)

Pre covid we used to go to Sussex Bowl for fish fry probably 2-3 times a month and were always happy with their dinners. It was always flaky and they breading was a bread crumb breading and very flavorful. Now, we have gone twice and both times the fish was so overcooked you literally couldn't chew it. Not only that, but there was no breading. I don't mean there was just a little, I mean no breading. It was like the took a piece of fish and threw it in the fryer. This has happened two times now. The first time I thought it must have been an oversight but to happen twice in about 4-6 months? Plus their price went up and they charge you 3% if you use a credit card. Too bad. I used to really like their food. Not anymore.

Picked up pizza on Friday night and it was great! Solid offerings on the menu. Picked up the BBQ chicken and a cheese for the kids. Loved the BBQ chicken. Super tasty with a crispy crust. It's not 5 stars because I asked for no bacon and there was bacon on it. Hubby didn't complain about that mistake at all but I would have preferred no bacon, yes I know I'm strange...

Went to sussex bowl last night 1st time the place was packed heavy set male bartender and wife were both friendly and attentive ordered wings and a burger both were really good .Good food good service definitely will be back and highly recommend!

I am a young adult, and the bartender did not make my friends and I feel welcome. She didn't smile once and rolled her eyes at me when I asked if she could remake my drink because it didn't taste right. I grew up coming here and I am HIGHLY disappointed because I respected this place so much but I don't think I deserve to be treated like crap. The woman who was rude to us was in her 40s/50s, had short hair, and wears glasses. If I see her working again when I come here I will walk right out the door because I don't need her negativity in my life. If you're a young adult DON'T come here, there needs to be changes

Payed a lot money for a party I had here and the service sucks bartender suck with there service too waited 15+ mins for drinks when they knew I payed A lot for the party for them too ignore me and they had attitude with my guests too will not recommend this place for a party only too bowl only person that made sure I was ok was Aubrey she was a good person
