Super Taqueria Don Pancho

This was a bookmark that though I would stop by for lunch because the Facebook page shows a combination plate on the picture of their menu. When I get there the menu has no listing of a combination plate so I show my server and she says they no longer have that and didn't bother to even offer me one after saying it's all that I came over for and I would have to order something else. The menu had two different skirt steak tacos offerings which were higher than the other but my server couldn't tell what the difference in the two were. The menu is probably the worst Mexican menu because the normal items like tacos etc were ala carte with next to no dinner offerings with rice and beans.They don't serve alcohol so no margaritas. The chips were not warm but they were crisp/fresh and seasoned. The salsa was bland and watery. Ala carte 1 skirt steak taco, 1 Al pastor taco, 1 side of beans and 1 side of rice and the up charge for skirt steak over Asada taco.The decor is very colorful and and generic Mexican. My food came quickly but didn't look right with a paper thin beef slice that didn't resemble skirt steak at all. It didn't have the texture of skirt steak or that rich beef flavor that only skirt steak has compared to other cuts of beef. The Al pastor taco was good because that pork was tender and seasoned. The rice was seasoned and cooked past al dente but on the edge of mushy/soft. The beans were very loose with scattered whole beans in them and seasoned.What completely kills this review is they don't know the food on the menu, the non flexibility to make me the one dish that I came over for from their Facebook menu picture they posted, the menu it self and the charging me more for skirt and passing off some low quality thin sandwich steak. I left feeling cheated and ripped off, if your out of something just say so but don't pass something else off on the customer and still up charge them.

Stopped in to pick up a breakfast plate. I got the machacado breakfast. It es bet generous and filling. It came mixed in with pico de gallo. The rice was good, but it was a bit on the dry side. The beans had a nice consistency but they were too salty. Over all, I wasn't disappointed with the machacado, which is the only reason I went in. Took off 2 stars because when I walked in I wasn't greeted by the hostess, they were just sitting down talking.

Love this place. Never a bad experience. Great sopes. They have good customer service and open early too.

Wouldn't accept a Entertainment Dining Advantage discount with I made the mistake of redeeming so I lost $9 of my credit because some poor young girl was told "no coupons" by the owner even though they signed a contract with Entertainment which is on file. Cheap owner who is sleepy looking for money. How about care about your customers idiot. The waitress even called him when I was waiting and he still refused any discount. You don't treat customers like like in the rain on a Friday night at 9pm. I will bad mouth this place every chance I get

Alright so basically the tacos are really good. Me and my girlfriend come here for take out and they never disappoint. She really loves the carne asada with green salsa and I really like the al pastor. The tacos are also good reheated, so later you can sink your teeth into some good tacos again. I can't say I dined in but I highly recommend to take out, especially now during covid.

Food is amazing. Chill atmosphere and the staff is really nice. Serving sizes are huge and reasonably priced.

Hoy visite el lugar pedí un bistec con nopales. Todo estaba delicioso muy buen sazón . El servicio es excelente . 100% recomendado. Definitivamente volveré a visitar este Restaurante.

The best tacos I have had in Milwaukee hands down. The place looks like a corner dive from the outside, but trust me - go in. Yeah the inside isn't much better, but trust me - pick a seat and park it. Order what you want, I can only speak for the carne asada tacos on corn tortillas with cilantro and onion. It's all I ever get. It's really just a matter of how many. Usually 5. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...gotta go get some now!

Got some dinner here the other day with my brother, the Al pastor taco plate was delicious and our server was friendly

I've gone here 3 times. The first time I thought the food was good enough to come back. Customer service was minimal. It was the same the next time but then the third time I was shocked to be charged about $15 more than expected.. then when I asked why, I was told "Prices have changed but we haven't changed them on the menus yet." That definitely was not worth the "ok" food I have been given. I will very likely not go back and recommend to stay away unless there's no other options.
