Super Mercado Nuevo Centro

Don't go here. They will rip you off and take advantage of the chaotic atmosphere. I bought a $2 container of bread crumbs, a $4 bag of cheese and a brick of ALDI BRAND CREAM CHEESE that didn't have a price tag. The total came to $11.85. So unless it's a $4 markup on that $2 aldi cheese they just saw me looking overwhelmed and out of place and added some items to the tab. They bet on me not saying anything, and in that sense, they won. Still Completely unacceptable.

Nuevo Centro serves up the best tacos in town (and they're only a dollar). They come accompanied by lime wedges and killer hot sauce. I almost don't want to post this review because then the lines might get longer.

Best Hispanic market in town. Best authentic style tacos in town. Best part about that... they're a dollar each. Steak, al pastor, carnitas, and barbacoa. They also serve great rice and beans. Since it is a market, there isn't anywhere to sit and eat, but that's alright because $1 tacos and Netflix are very much a match made in heaven.

I ate some tamales here and they were horrendous the flavor was there but the texture it was like they were half way cooked the masa was still plyable and it had bones in the only good things here are the tacos and burritos

Nasty over priced expired meats and produce they are racist here if you don't speak Spanish they judge u! They always hang up the phone if you don't speak Spanish
