It's difficult to find a farm steak sandwich but they serve it here. I stopped in specifically to have this with hash browns as I've been eating this breakfast meal for some 40 years but it's only served in the Waukegan area and only a few restaurants offer it.This one was fantastic and better than a few other locations. I'll be back!

The service was great, the Ambiance was nice but the food is lacking seasoning. I really enjoyed my crepes, the food is cooked really well but when it comes to seasoning there is none the eggs where bland had to add extra salt and hot sauce. The potatoes again were bland just fried had to add hot sauce and Ketchup and the coffee was weak like as if it was an extra light roast blend or there wasn't enough coffee grounds added. I overall would eat here again if the seasoning gets better.

Last night we enjoyed a concert at the beautiful Genesee Theatre. Before leaving the area, we ate breakfast at Sunset House Restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and quickly greeted by our server. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and potato pancakes. Within minutes, we were served! Excellent food and a lovely, friendly, and responsive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday brunch in this family restaurant.

The owners were very friendly, service was great and the food was delicious. We took 5 containers of soup home with us. We live in Chicago but definitely will be back any time we're near Waukegan. Definitely 4 . GET THE SOUP!!!
