Sometimes I guess I just don't Know what to say...The view was so beautiful I must have took over 300 Pics in the 2 Hours it took me to finish my magnificent heavenly hashbrowns! If I could describe this place in two words I wouldn't be writing this long review. Kevin If you can read this I really want you to know that You gave me some of the best service I have ever had and your comment about (my newly done) hair made my week!

We enjoyed our first visit to Heidel House and breakfast at the sunroom. The service was friendly and prompt. My wife ordered the breakfast BLT, which was amazing. I ordered two eggs with sausage a la carte, and the portion was very generous. Prices are reasonable. Great experience!

A total waste of an absolutely beautiful room overlooking the Heidel House grounds and Green Lake. By far the worst place we've ever patronized. Dirty utensils, dirty glasses, stained linens, horrible food. Hopeful new management will turn things around.

My breakfast, the short stack, was perfect for the foggy morning. Stephanie was friendly and helpful. She was accommodating when I asked her to use my personal ceramic cup for my tea. Very pleasant.

Good prices and the food was served in a timely manner. Hashbrowns were over done but everything else was good. Fair pricing as well. If you don't want to leave the resort to find a place for breakfast, come here!

The best part of this place was the view of the lake. Most of the seats are window seats so at least you are seated with a good view. Other than that it was over priced! The best deal was the cold all you can eat for $13! If you want a nice cup of heated homemade chocolate milk, then this is your place! It tasted like regular milk with a hint of chocolate. The final thing that peeved me was the work ethic of the waiters. They never asked if you needed a refill of coffee, so you were forced to get up and find the pot yourself! The reason why this review isn't a one star is because of our waitor Luke who brought everything out to us as soon as it was ready.

I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes. Sausage was good. My husband had the eggs Benedict which he enjoyed. Coffee to go is overpriced...

Well I didn't think it was possible to mess up a waffle, but apparently it can be done. My son and I each ordered a waffle. They both had a very odd taste to them and his was kind of mushy. The bacon he had was also over cooked and tasteless. I expected more from a supposedly fancy hotel. The only thing that seems fancy is the view.

My husband and I were far from impressed. There was one waitress for the whole room on a Sunday morning. We almost walked out because it took her 25 minutes to come to our table. We needed to get home since bad weather was headed that way and driving in freezing rain wasn't something we wanted to do. This place is also very over priced. $13 for a buffet? My husband wasn't very impressed with the offerings but got it just to be quick. I ordered an omelet off the menu. I asked the waitress if she knew how long of a wait it was going to be for my food. She said it wasn't going to take too long. Another 20 minutes went by and she still hadn't come back with my food. By that time my husband had already finished his food and was waiting for me to get mine. Eventually it came. It was watery and cold. I got a latte because I wasn't the mood for a bloody Mary or anything with alcohol in it. The waitress kept pushing me to get a mimosa or screw driver. That didn't impress me. I probably should have gotten one of those though because the latte tasted terrible. I can get a better latte at a convenient store. My husband ordered a bloody Mary. It was okay. The cheese looked like it had been sitting out for several hours. It was crusty and hard on one side and super warm and rubbery. There was several people who were refilling water glasses and coffee cups. Apparently one table needed an extra coffee cup so one of the women refilling the coffee cups turned around and took my unused coffee cup. I thought that was unprofessional and it really made me mad because I was going to get a regular coffee since my latte tasted bad. We eventually got out of there over an hour later. It's a nice place to stay but we won't be eating here again.
