I've eaten here 6-7 times now - a few when I had an appointment at the clinic here and the last three times when I was visiting an inpatient. The food and selection has really been great. A few examples off the top of my head from last week. Thursday one of the selections was soft-shell tacos. I had one chicken and one steak and they were packed with meat and cheese and were as good as any I've had. I also had a side order of rice and a cup of Chicken Florentine soup and it was also outstanding - very well made and none of what I dread - grease circles floating on top. The following day I had baked fish - three small but typical pieces of cod for $5.50 and a side order of very good curly fries for around $1.50 as well as some chicken soup - once again very good. Saturday I had a grilled chicken sandwich and chips. All in all - I think the food here is great. I should note they also have a salad bar - which is where the soup is also located, as well as a deli with made to order sandwiches. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food is very good.

Hopefully just a bad day but this is worst hospital food we have had in years. We had five of us. The chicken sandwich was rubbery, the fries old and not even warm. The gyro special was ok. The drinks are small. Didn't expect much, but this couldn't even live up to that.

After calling 4 times and talking to 4 different people over this weekend and no one bothering to call me back, I finally get a call back (after approximately 30 hours) and talked to a rather rude nurse (Tricia). Had no compassion whatsoever! The first one I talked to on Saturday was 100% more pleasant to talk to. Could offer no help whatsoever to me after the 30 hour wait for a call back. Very disappointed!!!

The hospital/clinic cafe is quick, handy and affordable when you need a bite to eat. Their food is fresh and flavorful. The salad bar has many options as well. It is conveniently located on the first floor and has a nice atrium to dine in.

I was very impressed with Aurora's Summit Cafe! I can't believe I could get this good of food at a hospital! I spent a lot of time at Aurora Summit since my father was sick and had to eat here many times and was always satisfied. During the weekdays they have a hot breakfast and choice of bakery. If you are craving a good latte, they even have a coffee kiosk that is better and cheaper than Starbucks! Lunch consists of a build your own deli with multiple breads, wraps and meat options, an entree that changes daily, and a grill with it's own daily special as well as some of the best burgers I've had on a grilled bun! They have house-made soups, a full salad bar spread and quite the option of snack foods. I will definitely be returning soon, even with my father out of the hospital!
