I do not leave reviews but felt this was necessary, on Thursday August 15th morning I was buying my groceries. All the employees where very helpful and kind except for the lady at customer service. As I'm waiting in the line of customer service I'm listening to her complain about the other employee to all the customers coming thru her line and complaining about the store manager saying he doesn't care about anything. Not only was she rude to everyone in the line but obviously needs to be retrained on customer service. As a corporate employee for years I'm hoping she can be retrained and talked to about her actions and behaviors in the workplace. If that doesn't work then she's in the wrong profession. Elderly people going thru the line are there for groceries not to her the complaints of how unhappy she is. I left my number with the store

We went to Sullivans on 3/21/20 with the ad insert they placed in the local paper. While shopping, I looked at the ad and selected a few items that were on sale. Another shopper seen me looking at the ad and told me that they are not honoring it. There wasn't any sign up in the store indicating that they were not accepting the prices that they themselves placed in the ad. Since more people were shopping because of the virus scare, they apparently were going to gouge for every penny that they could get. Why else would they not honor their own sale prices? I won't shop at Sullivan's any more. They don't deserve our business.

Sullivan's bought out the old M&M, which while much beloved by the town, was worn and dated. They have built a new store and are (as of this writing) tearing down the old one. And while the new one isn't officially open yet, and still is not in it's final form, and it may be premature, I have to say kudos to Sullivan's. It is now bright and clean with a better selection of products. Wider aisles and a less cluttered feel are a huge improvement.As of this writing, they have yet to get the liquor store, bakery and deli in their final form but if they are half as good as the rest of the store, this is going to be a huge shot in the arm to a community that has taken quite a few hits in the past few years.Really looking forward to the Grand Opening. I've lived in town for two years and ever since I moved here the management has always been an issue. They are rude and disrespectful. They talk down to you when you ask a question and are very rude to the employees. Calling them nasty names and demanding them to do jobs the manager should be doing and they blame the employees for their mistakes. And on top of all that, the pick five is all expired food and any seasoned meat has already turned brown and that is why they season it.

store is completely remodeled, although small, but its a small town. Much prefer it to the store in Oregon, that sells lots of expired food - Oh, and sullivans has better prices as well. Larger deli, baked chicken is good, cheaper, and not too salty (like Oregon) Now with the new small buffet, it is good to run in when not in the mood to cook, and food is reasonable & pretty good.

I had the most horrendous experience yesterday July 1st. We were at the register and used our debit card, as we always have since the new store opened. I love their new store. Their system was down and the cashier Donna, abruptly told us we have to pay with a check or cash. I cannot believe her attitude, first of all we always shop here and the cashiers have been nice to us, secondly she acted as if we were trying to steal groceries, since our card wouldn't work. More the once she said cash or check. I cannot believe in this day and age they do not have a manual override, where they can process a transaction with a manual transaction. No manager was called and we were made to feel like common criminals. I will avoid Donna in the future.
