Su Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant

My first time, was on a Saturday nite. With a date in hand, no reservations. I found Su Casa Grande on my phone so we thought we would give it a try. They were packed but they found a seat for us. The wait staff were all friendly and the food was fabulous and portions are large!! Today is my third time back I live almost an hour away but it's worth the trip! Thanks to my bartender for great service today!

Not sure why people are complaining so much. The food is always good here, the service is top notch, and the margaritas are tasty. The place is pretty clean and the ambiance resembles what you envision a Tex-Mex restaurant to be.

Su Casa is a classic Mexican restaurant with an expansive menu and lots of seating. We were seated as a group of six right away on a Saturday night. The staff was friendly and got us lots of chips and salsa right away.We ordered some guacamole and queso to start, as well as some margaritas. We really enjoyed the variety of margaritas and the delicious queso and guac. We order a round of entrees, mainly variations of the taco dinner. I wasn't impressed with the tacos, they were pretty flavorless and basic. Also, for the price of the entrees I expected a little bit more. There are a lot of extra charges for things and I felt like we paid a lot for a meal for six.

Su casa grande is grande. I wish my house was this big. We had a group of 12 but were quickly seated. The walls are painted in a stunko with also painted bricks and . It's trying to display as if we are outside. The dinner prices are mostly $17-$23. The food came quick.Both the enchiladas mole and spicy were good but they lacked sauce. The spicy wasn't very spicy though. The enchiladas had a lot of cheese. The rice and beans are typically Mexican average. The lime margaritas were tasty and strong!The server checked in just the right amount of times and was good with a large group and within the confined space. There was a wall on two sides and another table right next to us on one side.

I ordered a frozen margarita with lime, got it over ice instead, I don't think the waitress was listening to me. For dinner I ordered the chipotle shrimp, it turns out chipotle shrimp is just shrimp with salsa and a side of tortillas...I think maybe 8 medium shrimp. The plate looked so empty? No cheese, or setup like they give with the fajitas to go with the tortillas. It was so bland, just tomato and shrimp on a tortilla. Posted a pic for reference

Based on what we heard from others, my expectations were high. The food was good. I expected more flavor and more authentic salsas. Not the best Mexican food I've had and it was a little pricier than expected. Our server was very nice and attentive. The entire team was friendly.

Service: 5/5The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful! Food: 2/5The food was overpriced and very bland. The Chile Rellenos didn't come with any sauce on them nor was it an option, just a dry fried poblano with cheese.Margaritas: 5/5The margaritas were great, just strong enough and just frozen enough.Value: 1/5The value wasn't great, $12 for queso or guacamole. In my opinion, the prices were nearly $6-10 over what they should've been for almost anything on the menu and especially for what we got.

I just wanted to personally thank owners George & his beautiful wife for being so generous with their delicious food at Packers halftime games...and an unexpected buffet during the Super Bowl. Not many places do this any more. I'm thinking your generosity to all contributes to your success and I /we will always have nice things to say about your establishment. Thanks again. Charles

Nice place - Good food - They have one of the unfriendliest bartenders I have ever encountered. I believe her name is Lora and she has never shown any personal friendliness besides getting your food/drink order. The people around us at the bar agreed to her being not nice and we hope they replace her soon.

Just saw the video on YouTube it looks Amazing!!! Wish I lived in the area to come and eat the amazing food ! In all the videos staff looks Friendly and helpful ! Owner looks professional & Caring ! Highly Recommended for Lunch/ Dinner/ Parties with the entire Family & Friends !
