I've been coming to to stock house brewing for over a year now and the app kindly reminded me to write a review, so here you go. I Met the owners mark and paul on the grand opening who had a concept of not making the same beer twice. I struggled with this idea since it goes against the typical nano brewery rules. It's a gamble that has worked well and each time I've went. Except on a rare occasion of getting a beer on its first tapping I had the same beer twice within the week. It's similar to visiting a familiar new location with brand new beers on tap every time. The brewmaster Mark looks the part, read ..work boots, ironic glasses, hipster facial hair and the over worked and worked over look. Proof that brewing/cleaning is not glamorous at all. I've certainly been able to find 3-4 of 10 beers that fit my needs each and every time. Dogs are welcome on the back beer garden. Where you will find cornhole boards and occasionally lumpia city food truck. The other options are cosmos across the street along with Cranky Als pizza, Chinese food from next door and Hawaiian from Ono Kine Grinds. Parking lot is available east past the corner of w north ave and n 72nd st. Food 4 is a phone call or carry out away from plenty of options in west tosa /north ave area. Fun bar with a nice selection of beers. They have games to play and events like trivia, bands and stand up comedy shows. The back patio is nice and spacious and perfect to play bags. The beer selection is nice for me because I'm not a fan of IPAs, though they usually have one available. They also have some beers available in cans to go as well.If you're looking for food you can order from one of many local places and either have it delivered or carry-in.

In MIlwaukee on a trip and we were looking for some good local beer and a place to relax for a couple hours. We wandered into Stock House and it's been a great experience! It's located in an older part of town that seems to be wearing well and the space features a massive mural that makes a great backdrop to the whole space. We were greeted warmly by the bartender, and I think part owner, as we came in. We found a comfy spot and settled down and he let us do our thing before going back to the bar to order. That may seem like a small detail, but I appreciated the casual atmosphere.Since this was my first time, he gave me a bit of background on each beer and I ultimately chose the Amalthea Cream Ale. Definitely a treat on a cool Wisconsin afternoon! The tables and stools are all bar height as well, but my partner and I found a great space where we could spread out and do a little work.I highly recommend this new brewery and would love to come back the next time I'm in town!

This brewery, I'm told started here in 2018. It's rather hidden I thought since I've lived here in Tosa fir quite some time. It's right across the street from cosmos and ono kine grinds as well as next to tosa bowl. Now you can find it! Let me say they have an amazing patio. Dog friendly inside and out. They have bags, events, bucket toss (I forgot what game), trivia! Wait the beer! Great selection I've posted the options at this time but it's ever changing. Lori, the owner, on site has sine tees fir the ladies. Check them out. I say the blackberry wheat beer is my favorite today but the blood orange is pretty good. I would say I must visit in Tosa! My new go to.

Small brew house, but big brew! Came here for a few rounds while visiting Milwaukee! Loved the history in here and information that you get from all the old breweries in the area. Great to not only see great beers but how far we have come in the beer realm. Bartenders were great, fast and friendly. Will come back again the next time I visit!

Love that Tosa is having microbreweries pop up! Stock House is unique in that it doesn't brew the same beer twice. When we saw "Sour Patch Kid" sour beer on the menu, we just had to go! The bar is smaller with tables surrounding - not too busy for a saturday until a Milwaukee tour bus arrived, this place must be on the map! It got super busy after that! The bartenders were friendly and helpful. Much appreciated - Keep up the good service!Tip - you can order Cranky Al's pizza right to the brewery - they have beer/pitcher specials on Thursday nights.Cute spot - Id recommend stopping out!

I visited Stock House Brewing today, 5/14/22 in the late afternoon around 3pm. I visit craft breweries as a hobby (or the closest thing I will ever come to going on a spiritual pilgrimage). I felt very comfortable with the environment and decor. It felt very much like a neighborhood brewery with art and chalkboard dedicated to its location in Tosa. The kind female bartender greeted me quickly. I ordered a flight of 4 for $12 out of their own selections. They had several guest taps from surrounding breweries. I tried a dark wheat with whiskey flavors, a sweet dark ale, a blackberry wheat and a barrel aged saison. I was surprised and impressed with the nuisance of the flavor profiles of the beers. One tasted as having a higher ABV than it actually had, while the others had much more body than I anticipated. After being at approximately 145 breweries, I am seldom surprised as most selections fit the trendy IPA hoppy profile or stick to crowd pleasers like red ales or somewhat predictable lagers. Stock House had four selections in my flight that surprised me either in starting or finishing taste profile or body. Very pleasant. I was provided a free brewery sticker when I asked. Wi-Fi was readily available with password & was very stable. I would return and would be interested in sampling more of their selections.

We visited here for the first time, and definitely enjoyed ourselves. One of the brewmasters was there to chat about their brewing, beers, beer names, etc. They actually make a beer that they brew with Bazooka Joe bubble gum (don't worry, it doesn't taste like gum.) He was very friendly and we both enjoyed the beers we ordered. I got the Stupid Flanders sour which was subtly and refreshingly sour. I love that they also have kombucha on their menu for days when I want something tasty to drink, but I'm not in the mood for beer. They have a cute interior, board games available, and a large outdoor back patio area. They happened to be having a dog party the day we went in which was a pleasant surprise!

Love that Tosa is seeing more microbreweries around town however none have been excellent yet. I am a bit of a beer snob but still enjoyed my time at Stock House. I love the location, the atmosphere is nice and in the summer sometimes they setup outdoors at a nearby park. They only brew each beer once which is pretty neat! I didn't love love my beer but i'll give it another shot. I love that you can order in from Cranky Al's pizza or Ono Kine Grinz etc to eat inside of Stock House!
