We cane here to shop. We love. Italian food and I love to make it. So was just licking to see what is available. Then after seeing everything we got hungry. They have sandwiches , soup , panini all I wish to was great. You can have on you choice of bread. They had a little bit from around the world. I was able to get bangers there. It is a sausage my son loves. He was born in England and loves Bangers. I have been back a lot of good things.

I have found foodie heaven and it's in Sheboygan WI. Incredible market with tons of unique finds, lots of gourmet food, lots of local food and a kind staff. The deli is my favorite part- you can't go wrong. If you like curry chicken salad- best I've ever had from here. Love the giardinera, the tofu, the salads. Stefano's bread is hard to beat and everyone should try a loaf given the opportunity. This is a great place to pick up food. We like to go to the lake for a picnic with our findings. If you're in Sheboygan and love food you have to stop.

Like all of Stefano's other projects on the block this is a winner for us. Great little market of special foods, breads, cheeses, bakery items, and coffee. good free parking in back too.

It is so nice to have the quality and creativity in food found on each coast & in big cities. We are truly fortunate. The staff is extremely knowledgeable on the products and will happily teach you about anything you're are not familiar with. They also don't make you feel like an idiot like at Woodlake. Also, the food is far superior to any other specialty grocery store in the area. This is not a place where you're going to buy your weekly staples.

Where to begin. I'm in Sheboygan to golf. Whistling Straits on Friday, Black Wolf on Sunday. Saturday is a down day. I was tired of the American Club and all things Kohler, it's just a toilet, so upon the recommendation of someone at the Kohler Hotel, I made the mistake of venturing into Sheboygan. I would have had a better experience had I stayed in my room, polishing my clubs and cleaning the grass and mud from my golf shoes. It's 2022. I can walk into Walmart and buy VanLeeuwen ice cream, a bottle of Just Egg and a box of gluten free crackers. Whole Foods is about an hour away and if I was here longer, I could order anything from Amazon or the internet. Stefano's SLO food Market doesn't make sense.Nothing appeared to be fresh. With the exception of the baked goods. I looked over the produce. Two pitiful romaine lettuce. I've seen better ones grown in someone's backyard. Bananas that were so brown and bruised, they would probably qualify for Obamacare with a pre-existing condition. Now, if there was a Kroger store down the street, I could understand the owner forgoing the need to really have a prominent produce section. However, as I learned about a half hour later, there is NOTHING in downtown Sheboygan. Mr. SLO Food Market, is it. So why is he selling such a poor selection of produce.? Moreover, this is apparently part of a restaurant group. Don't they have a produce supplier? Can't you just add on to those orders? The deli case is equally unimpressive and even more confusing. This is Wisconsin, right? The dairy state? Why is the cheese selection so poor? Cambozola? In Wisconsin? Why not feature a Maytag Blue from neighboring Iowa? How about Dunbarton Blue or Red Rock from a Wisconsin master cheese maker, Chris Roelli? They had a 1 year Hook's cheddar. Hook's has multiple years of cheddar. I didn't see any goudas. Wisconsin has some great goudas. Marieke Gouda? Go for something unique, Crown Finish Caves. Even the NYC based cheese maker did a collab with Chris Roelli. Let me leave you with one word, Driftless. By the way, if anything I mentioned was there, the fact I didn't see it speaks to the ill conceived layout and the lack of staff selling the product. Cheese doesn't sell itself, not even at Murray's or The Beverly Hills Cheese Shop. For Italian cheeses, they had pecorino Romano but I didn't see any fresh Parmigiana Reggiano. What about a double or a triple cream Brie? Go with Mt Tam or how about London Fog from California. Drunken goat? The deli meats, only 1 or two Cremenilli? How about carrying the Cremenilli chubs or snack trays? Since you have limited staff behind the counter, this would provide a better experience. The salads were as depressing as the romaine lettuce. Plastic wrap draped over square serving dishes. The chick pea salad or the cucumber salad looked like they were left over from a Memorial Day picnic. Yet, it's June 4.This would be better served by bringing in a selection of Boars Head meats and actually making sandwiches behind the counter as well. There was a large selection of gourmet dry goods. Crackers, pastas, sauces. An unnecessary selection, all way overpriced, and will probably sit there watching the seasons pass. Again, a lost opportunity for even the smallest thing. They have a selection of potato chips near the register. Why not sell Glide? Small batch made in Madison? Unique flavors. What about Billy Goat from St Louis?Very limited refrigerated selection of milks, packaged cheeses. Should carry more Organic Valley, and either carry Vital Farm's or Phil's eggs. The coffee was okay and the baked goods looked better than they tasted. The croissant was not as airy or light as it should be. Maison Kayser would laugh, right after Eric would cry, realizing his croissant shared the same name. The "childhood cookie" was good, needed more frosting, reminded me of a cookie called a hermit. Then the baked goods become pedestrian, muffins and basic cookies? Instead of a "savory" croissant that contains meat, why not do an "everything" croissant? With so many Italian references within the market, and several bland, old, out of date bakeries nearby, why not sell cannolis or pignoli cookies? Bombolone or Italian rainbow cookies. Better yet, open a separate coffee / juice cafe. Every store front on 8th Street is available and it would free up more space in the market. The "downtown" strip of Sheboygan is so depressingly sad and vacant, any business opportunity would be welcome. A real sandwich shop, a cafe, bakery even a bodega selling coffee, bagels, bec for breakfast and packaged snack cakes and lottery, would be a welcome addition. There is a definite need for Stefano's SLO Food market but it seems to miss the mark in so many ways. The store is bound by two 100+ unit apartment buildings within walking distance but I can't see residents stopping over to pick up staples, in the market's current format.

Great selection of Italian imports for making homemade pizza! DOP tomatoes, great pecorino cheese and great baked goods. The frozen sauces, pizza and other items were intriguing enough for me to want to come back down and pick a few up. The baked goods looked amazing and the savory croissant was great! Next time I will try some coffee. Will definitely come back.

Good food and options overall. Wonderful job by the owner establishing such an innovative grocery store in our small town of Sheboygan. Unfortunately my trip to the market was derailed by a brunette cashier named I believe it was either Cleo or Chloe. The attitude I revived from the moment I went to check out. I am so shocked by how kind everyone else was how much this young lady rolled her eyes, made comments under her breath, and the tone. Very disappointing and not worth the trip if the cashiers are all like this.

Great store with lots of foods to enjoy. The deli, fish, meats, cheeses, bakery, bread, espresso bar, wine+beer+spirits, etc. are outstanding. The to-go counter menu items are delicious. The roasted chicken is a hit as well as the many changing sandwich/salad/soup offerings. This probably isn't the place for a big stock-up grocery run, but you could live out of this store if you wanted to. And you'd be living well. For gathering excellent fresh and crafted foods, it's an awesome spot. Store layout is very nice and clean, there's some outdoor seating for a nice lunch spot, and the staff is top notch, very friendly & helpful.
