Starks & Luce Coffee Parlour and Bakehouse

Starks and Luce is a wonderful coffee shop to visit when you're in the Wautoma area. They have everything you could ask for in a coffee shop: great coffee, specialty & holiday drinks, a breakfast and lunch menu, tons of seating and especially cute ambiance and decor! I was delighted to see that they had latte flights that you could order iced or hot, and I ordered the iced flight. I've had a bunch of latte flights, and this was pleasantly surprised me! My breakfast sandwich with sausage and an English muffin was very solid as well. Starks and Luce would be a great place to spend a few hours playing games on a rainy day, or simply when you need a good coffee fix!

If you're driving near or through the small town of Plainfield, you should definitely stop at this coffee parlor. It's in an old brick building that's been lovingly refurbished inside.It is very large and accommodates many people.For the early risers, they serve coffees and teas along with scones, muffins, and cinnamon rolls. They have a small but wonderful breakfast menu. I had the Amish baked oatmeal with fresh fruit. It was the best I've ever had!The folks working in the restaurant and the folks patronizing the coffee shop were incredibly friendly. The hours are 7 AM to 4 PM. So they also offer a salad, a sandwich, or a wrap with soup for lunch.Arranged around the parlor, there are many other items for sale, including shirts, cards, and syrup.Check out their Facebook page, too!
