Stack'd Burger Bar

I've been to stacked before and have always loved it! They usually aren't too busy, so it's easy to get a table even on a weekend night. The vibes are pretty chill; but it's more like a bar so you can dress up a tad or not at all and you wouldn't stand out either way. The pretzel buns, fries, jalapeño poppers, and fried pickles are all great! Highly recommend the fried pickles. The only reason I have four stars is cause everytime I've come I think they overcook the burger until it becomes a bit too dry even though I order it medium. There are better burgers in the city, but it's a quick easy place with great sides.

How the mighty have fallen. Went here for my sisters 18th birthday, we've been coming here for a long time and the quality has declined substantially over that period of time. The food is the saddest its been, my sister (a picky eater) ordered a grilled cheese and some genius made it with pepper-jack cheese?!?! My BYO was dry and tasteless, no juices no color. The fried pickles were clearly old and reheated, my Dad ( who will eat about anything) even spit it out. The waiters are also sad and depressing, specially the African American server. No personality and seemed annoyed to be working. The female blonde waitress was very pleasant and was doing a great job. This will be the last time our family comes here and It was on a very low note. I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes this year.

Hands down my favorite burger place in Milwaukee. I do the build your own and get something new every time. I did a chicken breast with caramelized onion, pickle, bacon, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, spicy ranch and a side of sweet potato fries. We're always able to get a table at lunch and enjoy some burgers and drinks. Great selection of beer and cocktails. Great Bloody Mary options. Service is great and food / drinks always come quickly. Easy walk from the third ward to stack'd.

It's been a couple of years since I had gotten dinner at Stacked, and for the first time I tried their patio. Perfect spot for a beer and dinner! The tomato tartare is a new item (at least for me) and it was tasty and with crunchy perfect pita chips. Nice service and overall reasonable prices for the portions.

Good burger! We also got wings as an appetizer so a double burger was not necessary! The patties were medium rare and a little extra juicy, so they made the bottom bun a little soggy, but our other burger was perfectly medium and pink on the inside so I think I'd trust them to not overcook them in the future (I usually ask for medium rare to avoid overcooking). Tertris tots were pretty salty, but still delicious. They also don't have a diaper changing station in the bathroom so I had to use the counter :-/ service was solid!

We went here because we really wanted a burger. We started out with drinks. They advertise 100+beers but most are canned and I don't even think they hit that number just based on the menu. Drinks were good they had a decent list of ciders and the old fashioned was made well. Now when it comes to food we really enjoyed the cheese curds but the burgers were kind of a let down. They were cooked to our liking but their was no flavor and the bun they used ended up getting soapy because of the grease from the burger. The fries were also kind of disappointing. They weren't super hot when they came out and again no seasoning. I think they would have been better with some type of seasoning. Personally I wouldn't go here again for a burger.I will say our waiter was nice and we got sat right away when we got there. They had a nice outdoor seating section and I don't know how the inside was but everything seemed clean. Overall the only thing that was disappointing was the burger and that's what they market for.

Stacked in the Third Ward is the PERFECT PLACE to get a well-made burger and watch your favorite game on the big screen. We got burgers and fries with a bunch of local draft beers. The meat was very well seasoned, and the servers were courteous and helped us navigate the menu, which had so many options to choose from. Very lively ambiance and definitely lifted our spirits when watching our favorite college football game.

Last night in Milwaukee on this trip and needed a solid gluten-free, vegan meal within walking distance of my hotel. I was intrigued by Stack'd Burger and impressed by their GF and vegan offerings. Much better options than Shake Shack, which was closer but a no go. I got the bean burger with a bed of greens, tomatoes, onions and pickles with a side of sweet potato fries. The food was ready quickly and I didn't have to wait at all (though it was before the dinner rush). The food was tasty and the side of fries that came with the entree was humongous. My only issue was the bed of greens was more like a pillow of greens. Overall, really good!

Great burgers, tasty. They were out of their pretzel buns, but I did come in 30 minutes before the close. I wouldn't criticize them for that. Service was fast and friendly. Place was pretty empty on the Sunday night I came in, so I can't comment on the vibe other than saying the staff was fun and outgoing. I'd say try the place out.

Went for the first time with three other people because one was a vegetarian and they served vegetarian food. Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. They either didn't have enough staff or didn't schedule properly. Only one server initially who clearly didn't want to be there. We were told that they only had one grill going so it was going to be slow. He put his head down on the wall while we were asking questions. A bit after we ordered another server came around. Much friendlier and energetic. But our order had been taken. We waited quite a long time and finally the food came. It was good, but nothing special. I expected more for the price. Finally, we got our bill. I was a piece of paper tossed onto our table. The second server came around and gave us another bill (copy) but it was placed in a vinyl folder and handed to us. There was a person in our group who is an over-generous tipper and unfortunately, I think the wrong server got it. Two of us agreed it wouldn't be worth coming back there. Over-priced, bad service.
