My go to is either the lobster roll or grouper fish fry. Last time we went I finally tried the crab boils and was pleasantly surprised. The salmon crack is probably called crack cause it's pieces but mannnn is it addicting. When you're waiting for your table take a walk around the market or grab a drink and relax.

St. Paul's Fish Company is a fantastic choice for fresh seafood, perfectly located at the end of the Milwaukee Public Market. The lively atmosphere of the market makes the wait for a table a non-issue--you can browse the stalls and soak in the energy while you wait.We started with the clam strips as an appetizer, and they were crispy, flavorful, and a great start to the meal. I went with the lobster roll, which was generously filled and absolutely delicious. My partner had the perch sandwich, a perfectly cooked classic that they thoroughly enjoyed. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit lackluster. It took quite a while for our server to check in, and there were no drink refills during our meal. That said, the quality of the food and the great location made up for it. It's a fast paced environment, I know they had plenty of people vying for their attention, which made the slower service understandable. Especially on a Saturday night. Overall, St. Paul's Fish Company is a solid seafood spot with excellent food and a prime location. Just don't expect top-tier service, and you'll have a great time!

Went for DinnerFood - 5/5. When traveling, I always want to try the local specialties, so I was glad to find a spot that offers Great Lakes fish. The lake perch had a light, flaky texture with a mild flavor that made it a perfect fit for frying. Batter added a delectable crunch with a beauty golden brown color. Fries were crispy and light on the oil flavor. Cole slaw provided a refreshing vegetable crisp, which was great for cleansing your palate. The subtly sweet and tangy flavors of the malt vinegar in the sauce made for a pleasant addition to the rich fried items. Walleye had a firm texture that made it a good fit for pan-frying. The fish held its shape well while still being flaky; easily cut with just a fork. It had a subtle sweetness that matched well with the rich, piquant flavors of the beurre blanc. Vegetables had a good bite to them and the rice was fluffy. Both sides made excellent pairings with the beurre blanc as well.Service - 4/5. Friendly and quick service. Food came out in good time and service was readily available.Value - 5/5. The lake perch fish fry was $18 and the pan fried walleye was $19. While I am not familiar with the local rates, I generally find that seafood can be expensive, so I found the pricing to be reasonable for fish entrees. Portions were good with a generous serving of fish. We asked for extra beurre blanc, which was only charged at $0.50. Fantastic spot to sample the delicious native fish of the Great Lakes!Parking - Street (Metered)

Just me and a free lunch hour!! I heard St. Paul's calling. Pan Fried Walleye, Julienne Rice, Fruit cup, Grilled vegetables. Outstanding. The filet was generous, and it was fresh. I'd like to believe the taste was totally different from frozen. The trick is finding parking in the area without having to walk far on a cold day. There are so many other fresh seafood choices as well. Come soon.

I am dreaming of coming back here. This is the place to be at the MPM. We got a table reservation and then ended up sitting at the bar and it was such a good decision. We loved everything we ate. My lobster roll was so so so good. My partner loved the oysters. It's the MPM so ambiance is what you'd expect. I'd recommend sitting at the bar over a table. We got great service and it was quick and efficient while not feeling rushed.

Ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Fish FryThe quality of the Shrimp was there! Overall, not bad. Definitely need to try this Lobster Roll. The fries were just decent.Update: I got a scoop of the Lobster Salad. It had decent flavor of lobster but I am glad I didn't get the brioche bun with the Lobster Roll!

If I could write a review for the outdoor Tiki bar it would be a billion stars because it's so awesome in the winter to feel like you are in the tropics. During the summer they take down the walls and heaters so you can bask in the sun.Ambiance and service have always been great but food has been spotty. First time I tried the clam strips I loved them but second time they were fishy. The fish fry has also been hit or miss but I did get it fried.Pricing is reasonable for downtown. The menu is nothing fancy but you can get your seafood groove on!

Checked out this place on a recommendation from someone at the airport as I was just visiting Milwaukee for business and I gotta say I was not a fan of this style of fish fry. I'm not exactly sure what is Milwaukee fish fry, but being from the South when I see fried catfish on the menu, I have a very particular vision in my mind and this was not it. traditionally you would have this be with a cornmeal breading, but this was made me think of something a can to a 'shake and bake' type of breading.Looking at some of the other fish that they fry here this might've tasted better on those, but not with the catfish in my opinion. Because that said the tone for the meal even with hot sauce, it just didn't really do it for me. That said, the french fries were fine and the coleslaw was OK too.

St. Paul Fish Company in the Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee is hands down the best spot for seafood and oysters in MKE. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, even when faced with rude customers. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the food is absolutely delicious. The calamari steak was so good and fresh, you could use a fork to cut it, and the shark bites were amazing. The menu is huge! From lobster rolls to fish fries. As an oyster lover, I can confidently say that they offer the best deals and the freshest oysters you can find. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic seafood dining experience!
