Wait here an hour before closing after a concert. We walked in and they said they were still open but there was no soup available or coffee. I found that kind of strange that coffee wasn't even available with an hour left of operation. These were the two things we were looking forward to on a chilly evening. Anyway, ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fries, and a spinach salad. The chicken Caesar wrap was cooked perfectly, and very flavorful and delicious. On the other hand, the spinach salad only had spinach, and no other vegetables. I found that the staff was very courteous and attentive. I realized really don't have any control over the overall operations of the restaurant. Definitely will come back during regular working hours, and not expect the same result.

Their chicken dumpling soup was the best I have ever had. It was even better than Grandmas and that says a lot!! Taco salad was sub par. Ground beef had absolutely no Mexican seasoning in it. And the "salsa" tasted just like puréed tomatoes. Nothing Mexican about this salad at all. I asked for some jalapeños and that helped

This used to be a good restaurant - no longer. Change in ownership & management has made it a place to avoid. Service & food is a disappointment. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.A long time customer, but enough is enough. It's a sad end to what once was a great establishment.

The food tasted good. For some reason...I enjoy the food more when I eat it in the attached bar. The pizza is my favorite. The decor is very nineties-esque. Service kind of hurries you out of there.

This mom and pop restaurant I came across while traveling over the road is absolutely yummy. Their country fried steak is authentic instead of the frozen ones you get from a chain restaurant. The fried eggplant is to die for. The family is super friendly. Must try if you are in the area.

I have been driving past this place for years so when I saw it the other day I said I would go for breakfast here. The place was your typical Greek looking diner with green carpet and lots of wood and color on the walls. A fireplace was in action which was cool. Every table had a vase with a real rose in it and it was Valentine's Day. There is the Rox bar and grill on one side of the building which looked closed. At 8 am on a Sunday it was quiet but people steadily walked in while I was there. The breakfast menu has all the typical stuff with and $5 bloodys and specials. The chicken fried steak caught my eye so I asked was it frozen and for once she said no it's made in house, I have not found a real one in many years so I asked her again and she re assured me it was real.I ordered the chicken fried steak with two eggs, American frys and toast. The eggs were perfect sunny side up. The sourdough toast was nice because that's my favorite toast option and I liked the fact they had it. The American frys were cooked perfect to my liking. The chicken fried steak was in fact house made with sausage gravy on top. The gravy had only one pieces of sausage in it, see my picture. The chicken fried steak was ok, not the best and not the processed frozen crap. The steak was actually cube steak but I didn't mind because at leas it was not frozen.Overall I'm going to give 4 stars because of two key things and that my breakfast was good. The sourdough toast was a nice fourth option and the fact that they do a real chicken fried steak. The service had no issues to complain about and my experience was a pleasant one.

Spring City is a solid, diner style restaurant complete with a dining bar if your by yourself or a regular restaurant room if you prefer table service. I've been there twice and both times the service is quick and friendly. The menu is varied but being a sucker for open faced hot sandwiches smothered in gravy, on both my visits that's what I've had. The roast beef sandwich is pretty good while the gravy for the turkey sandwich was a bright yellow and not quite as good. Both times I also had a cup of chicken dumpling soup which is really delicious!I definitely recommend Spring City as a nice, local alternative to the chain restaurants in Waukesha!

First time in. Had a steak dinner. 27.00. It was without a dought the worst meal I have every had. Steak dry, vegetables over cooked and seasoning sucked. The baked potatoes was ok. Overall, not again. Save your money. I should have just went to McDonalds.
