A nice, clean and conveniently located local Indian grocery shop that sells a good variety of items. You can bet on finding the usual everyday items here (snacks, spices, desserts, frozen meals etc.) It's kind of expensive but not bad. The service is good. Definitely check them.

The owner is super helpful and friendly. The way they have handled COVID is phenomenal. Although the store is a seldom disorganized but there has been hardly anytime they were out of stock. One of the best in town small business specialty grocer.

A nice little Indian store in the Vernon Hills area for all of your Indian grocery needs. We have purchased spices, rice, dal, snacks, etc on very many occasions and it has been of good quality every single time. The hospitality too is very courteous. There is only a cashier at the register but if you do need help finding anything they are more than happy to help.My favorite has to be the fresh phulkas which come in every day. Perfect for the days when I'm in no mood to roll out roti / phulka. A 10 pack of oil free phulkas would cost you $3.Every Wednesday they get limited stock of select veggies like Okra, Green Chillies, Curry Leaves, Bottle Gourd, etc. If you are looking to purchase these veggies then be sure to get here on Wednesday to grab the freshest stuff. This is definitely a place we frequent.

Clean store with well stocked aisles. Majority of the items had the price on them, which helps (at least on the items I ended up buying). Their frozen section had items that were different from the stores I usually visit, so I was able to try different Indian items. They have a good mix of both North and South Indian products. Personally, I don't see this grocery store being any different from the other stores within 10 mile radius. It's a good store, but I can see myself coming here only if I'm in the area.

A bit sketchy when my packages says buy 1 get 1 free but they charged me for the price of two, I had to say something. $10 minimum for cards.I think I will be coming back often, I recently switched to pescatarian so indian dishes works well, japanese does too but it's more difficult to make japanese at home and eating out for japanese a lot adds up.3 isles of groceries. no frills. some fresh produce. I was actually expecting fresh samosas which they did not have any. Most frozen entrees are 1.99.

There was a sign on the door last Thursday with a phone number. It was locked, so obviously there was still merchandise inside. I have no idea if they are even still in business.

Most expensive place to buy grocery. Better to go Desi Needs. Just 3-4 miles from Spice Bazar. Spice Bazar don't put price on the racks , so you never know price of the items until you are billed. Owner knows that no one will ask price of each item while getting billed. Lady at the counter is very sweet in talking. Every thing is at least 25% to 40% higher. Recently we bought a Hawkins dosa tawa at $48/. Same thing is available in other store at $35/. They always take a plea of supply chain issue. If this is supply chain issue, then this issue is with every one.

Sure, you might find certain expired items in the store. Additionally, none of the items have price tag that is visible because the lady owner increases the prices per convenience every other week. Common things that have escalated in prices ridiculously at this store which include: Aata, Rice, Organic Daals, Fennel Seeds and many frozen items. If you compare the prices at near-by indian store and this- you'll know whose cheating you. In fact, we now go all the way to Patel Bros to get basic items which have been overpriced at this location.
