Simply the best Fish Fry in a 10-mile radius. No question. Have tried them all. Really, every single one. Every time, perfectly cooked fish. Now, the local folks know it (and we are one), so it is always packed on Fridays. Be ready to wait to get seated if you get there after 4:30 or 5pm, but here's the good news.... they have great cheap drinks! So stop by for the Fish Fry on Friday night, have a cocktail or two, chill out a bit with your wife/date/partner/whatever, and kick off your weekend in epic local-joint style. Oh, and like the Fish on Friday, the Prime Rib on Saturday is also outstanding. A two-fer!!!

Fabulous little gem. Fish fry on Fridays was tasty. Salad bar with the creamiest claus slaw. Very reasonable in price. Going to try their prime rib special on Saturdays next time we go Sean our waiter was quick and efficient

If you go on the weekend or Fish Fry Friday, be prepared for a long wait for a table. the food is great, but it is mainly a bar... lots of noise and chaos!

Great Reuben sandwich! Served on marble rye. My partner had the chili and enjoyed it.

In town over Valentine's weekend asked around for Friday fish while staying at Lake Lawn Resort. Referral we got was to seek out the South Shore Bar & Grill. Definitely a local favorite with its usual compliment of regulars on stools looking like a scene out of Grumpy Old Men (but in a good way) with that everybody turns and looks at you when you walk in, then goes back to their business. One particular group of ladies sat off to the right at their own card table opening an endless bounty of mail from home, so it was casual to say the least. Everyone was friendly and the food was what i would call the standard Friday fish fare. Good selection of accompanying sides included with each order. Overall good food with friendly service.P.S. I think i saw the green hornet ice fishing pole from Grumpy Old Men in residence. ;)

Great people great food. Best burgers in Walworth County. The fish fry gets crowded but the bar will keep you entertained and worth the wait.

Great little tavern! Stopped in for dinner and had a good meal of ribs and pizza. The ribs were great but the pizza was just ok, good crust but otherwise bland. The service was good and friendly.

Fantastic food and service. The generous portion sizes and fair prices make this place one of our favorites.
