He either said "Kill Caeser" or maybe it was "kale Caeser." I'm going to be Shakespearean and say it was the former.

Sorella is a hot spot that is super busy, but you still get the feel that you are the most important guest dining in. Our server was knowledgeable, fast, kind and paid attention to detail. Our food was served quickly and hot. We ordered pizza, chicken and pasta and we cannot name one item we did not like. The place was dim which gave it the perfect vibe. The dining room is open with many tables and booths. There is a full bar and seating in that area as well. We were pleased that they were able to accommodate our group of 11 and we fit comfortably. In addition there is also outside seating that is heated for the cooler months. I'll add, the washrooms are impressive and I absolutely love the lighting. Most definitely a spot to check out if you're in the Milwaukee area!

This very attractive restaurant makes great use of a space and is beautifully designed in many ways. My six guests enjoyed their meals. I suspect that others who planned leisurely meals with friends in tables of 2 to 4 may have rated their experience higher. However, that was not true for us. We were on time for our reservation and seated immediately, actually a couple minutes early. We were given menus and water right away. Then, 15 minutes later, I asked a passing staff member if she could find us a server. When he arrived, he asked if we had any questions! Once I got him to understand that we had theater tickets, things picked up. As mentioned earlier, the food was quite good. But we got out in time for the show because we ate quite quickly, a task made easier by our inability to hear one another in the din in the room. Throughout this, the host stood idly at the door while the place clearly needed some help.I'll wait to return when outdoor dining resumes.

We stopped by Sorella for a friend's birthday dinner. The inside is cute and cozy, and bustling. There isn't much room to wait for a table, and unfortunately, even if you have a rezo you'll be waiting. We were seated 20 minutes late, while they were waiting for a table to leave their outdoor tent. Meanwhile there was a table that was empty inside that would have fit us all, that they didn't seat us at. Understood that they may have had other reservations coming up, however, we had been waiting 20 minutes past our reservation. We finally got seated in the outdoor tent. Online they state that the tent is 70 degrees. This is greatly inaccurate. While there is fire and a heater, the outdoor tent was so cold! They leave the tent entry open, which creates a wind tunnel, and the temp was entirely uncomfortable. If you're going to sit outside, you should dress in layers to keep warm. We got seated, and they hadn't even filled water glasses or brought water to the table. We finally got waters another 15 minutes after we got seated. Our drink orders taken 45 minutes after our initial reservation time. Service throughout the night after that was just ok. The great thing though, is that the food was good. We ordered Burrata, arancini, pizzas, vodka pasta, chicken parm, Nutella calzone, and tiramisu. The Burrata was delicious, as were the pizzas. Our friends enjoyed the pasta and chicken parm. Nutella calzone was also good, but it would have been nice if they had provided silverware. Also, nothing special for birthdays here. Overall, our dinner was ok. Sorella is expensive, our bill for the table was around $350-400 and unfortunately the service just didn't match. Food was good, but honestly nothing overly special. I'd recommend the Burrata and the pizza.

Sorella offers a fine dining experience, but it doesn't quite live up to the hype. The atmosphere is pleasant and modern, with sleek décor and an intimate setting. The space is cozy, making it a good spot for a casual evening out, though it doesn't have the same wow factor that some other local spots deliver. The menu features a variety of Italian-inspired dishes, and while the food is decent, it lacks the creativity or boldness you might expect from a higher-end restaurant. The pasta was fresh and well-prepared, but it didn't stand out in terms of flavor. The sauces, while good, were a bit on the plain side, and there was a noticeable lack of complexity in some of the dishes. While the presentation was attractive, the flavors didn't quite reach the level of excellence.Overall, Sorella is a fine option if you're in the area, but it doesn't offer much to distinguish it from other Italian restaurants in the city. It's a solid choice for a casual night out, but if you're looking for something truly special, you may want to explore other options in the area. Just okay, but not outstanding.

Stopped in for a birthday dinner and sat outside on the patio. Atmosphere was very nice out there, this is a good date night spot for sure. We both went with pasta options, and while both were good, neither were exceptional or overly noteworthy.Drink menu was probably the highlight for us, lots of different and refreshing options. In addition to a nice local beer selection. For the price I think we were a bit disappointed, but still enjoyed everything. It's a date night spot to try for sure!

Sorella might just be my favorite spot for Italian food in Milwaukee. I had a spritz and split the vodka pasta and D'Angelo pizza with a friend on their patio. The D'Angelo pizza, with its vodka sauce, mozzarella, roasted peppers, guanciale, and scallions, is truly something you can't find anywhere else in Milwaukee. Sharing a few dishes with a friend is definitely the way to go.The ambiance of the patio, with its charming string lights, adds to the experience, and making a reservation online was a breeze. The service was excellent and the pace was just right. I highly recommend!

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with my pasta the last time I came here. The noodles were a bit underdone, and the sauce was lacking in quantity and a bit of flavor. It was still tasty, but I've had many vodka pastas (one of my favorite dishes), and this one was underwhelming. That being said, I have been here one other time and had a really nice experience! So I'm definitely going to come back at some point and maybe try something new!

It was too cold outside- heaters don't all work and they don't have the door closed. We waited for 23 minutes for drinks- slow, aloof service- heater ran out- we let the nearest staff member know it ran out.Which turned out to be the owner. And sadly had to make a second request as he came out with the next tables wine instead of a new propane tank. Food was great - but the tent was too cold and service didn't make up for the cold tent.

The food was outstanding as was the ambiance and service. Portions are generous and all the sides were interesting, different, and tasty. The pork chop was especially delicious, tender, juicy, and more like a good steak than what you'd expect from a pork chop. The cheese cake was exceptional, taste, texture, and presentation BUT the restaurant is definitely not $$. Its really a generous $$$
