I love Somethings Brewing! I've been here many times over the years, and I have enjoyed everything I've tried (which is most of the menu). Today I had the Tommy Club Sub, it was deliciously satisfying. Everything is excellent, but some of my favorites are: The Chyna Wrap, The French Melt Croissant, and The Loco Labretti. Their breakfast offerings are equally good, and be sure to add a side of Seasoned Tater Babies! Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and hard-working.

I got anxious as soon as I walked in. There was very little standing room because of the line of people waiting to order or waiting for their food or drink. There's also tables and shelves full of stuff all around the front. Then the menu is too extensive and hard to read. There was no seating available when we got there. There's a vast arrangement of baked goods, cookies, fudges, candies etc. It's just so busy! It feels like there is no serenity. I ended up getting a jalapeño cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese and banana pudding. The cream cheese was tasty. The banana pudding is no Magnolia bakery but it was decent.

This is my go to local small coffee shop vibes whenever I want to study or work outside of home. There are so many different treats and eats to choose from. I always have a good time when I come here as it's a great place to meet up with friends. Prices are reasonable and the service is nice. This is a must visit for anyone in the area!

This shop is located in downtown Grayslake. I absolutely love the late hours! It's typically open until about 8:30pm! You really can't find coffee shops open that late. It's so nice to be able to sit down and enjoy a drink and a dessert pastry! They have a huge variety of pastries!! Super yummy muffins! My favorite drink is their Caramelicious Iced Latte!! It is super sweet and basically comparable to drinking a dessert beverage, but I am in love with it. It's the perfect sweet treat! They have a large variety of drinks. I wasn't a huge fan of their hot mocha latte, but their iced Mocha was tasty!! A cozy corner coffee shop, like stepping into something you'd see in a cute movie!

Delicious GF Dessert! My Aunt Maggie brought me this incredibly, creamy, rich gluten-free dessert from Linda. I ate half and then had to write a review because it's often hard to find GF options and this one is worth stopping in Something's Brewing! It's three layers and I highly recommend it

Something's Brewing is a local gem in Grayslake. With two locations, this location gives a college campus coffee shop feel. It offers a variety of pastries, sweets, breakfast options, and drinks. In comparison to the other location, this spot offers more space to sit and work or chat. I enjoyed my pastry and drink, and appreciated the help from one of the staff members when looking through their gifts section. Prices for drinks are relatively affordable, breakfast items range from $5-$13, and the pasties range in price. I look forward to going back and trying a breakfast item! Ps. Parking lot is large so you don't have to worry about finding a place to park.

I really like to support locally owned, small businesses.Something's Brewing fits the bill & then some!Upon entering you are met with a gorgeous pastry case. I'm like a little kid in a candy store trying to decide what muffin, cake, pie or cookies to buy.Today I had a delicious scrambled egg breakfast sandwich. I've also had deli subs & wraps. As you can imagine, the coffee choices are extensive & all very tasty. The young gentleman, Tony who normally helps me is so kind & helpful.Give this "hidden gem" a try!
