This place is immaculate. Such a clean restaurant. Small but decorated very authentic. Chips and salsa were delicious. We requested some hot salsa which was delicious too. I just read another review that said they had green salsa. We both ordered the corn tortillas with chicken and tomatillo sauce. So good. The chicken is quality white meat. A Generous quantity of chicken is rolled into each enchilada. The green tomatillo sauce is fresh. Rice and beans are fresh too. The rice is nice and fluffy with good flavor. The beans are well seasoned and have a nice texture. They are not overcooked like some Mexican restaurants.

I keep driving by this place and finally got a chance to have dinner here this weekend. A Mexican friend of mine said he ate here and was raving about the parrilada, so that's what I ordered. The word means "barbecue", and the dish did not disappoint! A medley of meats - short ribs, chicken, chorizo and vegetables was grilled and served on a flame-lit pan, which kept it hot the whole meal. It was served with rice and beans and tortilla. That portion was huge (we got the 2-person serving) and the price was very reasonable. The mojito we ordered was the perfect compliment to the grilled meats. Next time I will try the fajitas and Paloma!While the atmosphere isn't anything to write home about, the staff was friendly and we had a great meal. I think this will become a weekly lunch and/or dinner spot for us!

Enjoyed dinner tonight, having exceptional Mexican food! I had the combo platter with a chimichanga and two enchiladas. The chimi had great flavor and the chicken enchiladas had Maria's delicious mole sauce that was well balanced without any bitterness! To be honest, the real stars on my platter were the rice and beans. Almost everywhere else the rice is lackluster, but not here. I couldn't say exactly what the spices were but the flavor and texture of that rice was probably the best I've had! The beans were very creamy and tender as well. My wife had well-seasoned chicken tacos. Our server, Solomon, brought out some salsa verde for us to try. OMG! I'd put that sauce up against any other salsa verde. I ordered a container of the verde to go. We will go back for more very soon. Solomon said there is so much to try there. I'll trust him to bring us something of his choosing next time.

Good food. If you like street tacos with cilantro and onion, this is the best spot in Waterford. If you're more of a lettuce and tomato taco person, they have that too. All businesses are effected by employment at the moment and the owner mentioned they are short staffed. So if you go be patient and wait for the good food.

We are so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. Everything was fresh and delicious. Hard to choose from the enormous menu. We carried out the tamales on the weekends. Chicken or pork? Why not try both! I couldn't believe the low prices compared to restaurants in the city. Flautas got that crunch you crave, the fajitas got that sizzle if you eat in. Get some! Please support this place so it will stay open. You will be doing us all a flavorful favor.

Excellent service, great food and drinks! If you're looking for TRUE authentic Mexican, this is the place to go! Best fish tacos hands down. Also, their tequila Cantaritos are the best I've had in a long time! The best part of all, they serve it all to go!!!!

Their good is great. But their hours are iffy! I never know when they're open. I've been there at 11 with the owners inside and the doors aren't opened! Kinda strange.....

Decided to give this place a try after seeing the positive reviews. Arrived around 6:45 on a Saturday Night. Should have been a tip-off to us when there were no cars in the parking lot and no customers inside. Guacamole was actually pretty good. Everything else, not so much. Service was not friendly or attentive. Margaritas were WEAK! Fish taco special was bad. I hate leaving a bad review, but trying to keep things real.
