I enjoyed an absolutely amazing takeout meal with two Yelper friends recently from Soho Gourmet Cuisines, and I am a HUGE fan now! Hainanese whole gently poached and incredibly tender chicken, richly flavorful rice and spicy savory garlicky gingery sides, I was in heaven. I am very much looking forward to trying more of their menu items in the near future! They are in Fitchburg and I am on the east side but they have many delivery options. It's so nice to find a new favorite in this strange time for restaurants.#ThankYouThursday2021

We enjoyed the Soho Food Truck tonight at McDaniel Park for the summer Bands by the Boardwalk live music series. The meal felt relatively healthy for a cheat meal and was tasty and filling! The food did not take long so that was convenient. Would definitely eat this again and glad we gave it a try.

Had the opportunity to try SoHo during the Madison night market yesterday. The line for the food truck was pretty long but I managed to get my food relatively quickly. The menu offered a variety of different Asian cuisines that all looked very yummy. I ended up choosing the soy charbroiled chicken with scallion on white rice. The entree was ~$14 after tip and the portion size was very good. I was happy with the flavors and the taste. Will definitely revisit when I get the chance!

I have been buying their rice boxes and dumplings for years, and let me say, the flavors are FIYA! The Hong Kong BBQ Pork is my favorite--the ginger/scallion chutney and pickled cucumbers pair perfectly with the salty/savoriness of the pork. It's reminiscent of the traditional sweet pork my Mom makes (just less fatty and tender!). Other stand outs are their congee (seasonal), Viet-style brussel sprouts and Hot Chick dumplings. All this, within an arms' reach of the Capitol! What's cool is that they're not afraid to put out new recipes, or try unconventional dishes, too. Service is always good. I know their Mac n' Cheese dumplings are a hit,and they've opened their own store in Fitchburg! The menu at the store has an even better variety of yumminess!

Was once more focused on dumplings but has really taken on the rice bowls, salads and specials, Soho has taken Asian dishes to a whole nutha leva of flavors. My favorite rice bowls are the BBQ pork, charbroil chicken, pork belly and Korean BBQ all served with a side of cucumbers, chutney and sauce specific to each dish. There are daily specials always with a twist or a fusion. So you can have your delicious go to, or go for something different and venture outside the usual menu. You won't be disappointed either way. For example, the Friday Fish Fry I tried was a Thai style fried perch with amazing chili sauce. I can still taste it now.

Wow! Absolutely delicious. Was looking forward to getting food from the SoHo food truck for quite some time now and it definitely did not disappoint. I got the Hong Kong BBQ pork rice box and, my goodness, the pork is so juicy and soft. At the same time, there is a crispy edge on the pork. The sauce is the perfect viscosity and just the right amount of sweetness. On the rice, there are chopped green onions that adds such nice flavor to the overall dish. Lastly, my boxed rice came with pickeled cucumbers which added a crunch and a refreshing taste after each bite of pork and rice. SoHo is always so creative with their food creations. I am excited for summer lunches now!

Went to Capitol Square and found a food cart. Being from LA, there are plenty food trucks and taco trucks etc., so seeing this small version of a food truck I couldn't pass up the chance. This cart sells fusion Chinese dumplings with side salads. They have everything from a Thanksgiving explosion to a Fiesta in your mouth. OK, I may have exaggerated a little there, but they do have dumpling flavors that I never dreamed of. We tried all the dumpling flavors just because they were pretty unique. I will list them in order of preference, though this in no way means that lower items are not good.So Beefy:My favorite among the selection. It's almost like a Chinese ravioli with beef, mushrooms, and cilantro. Sauce was a slightly spicy soy sauce vinaigrette which went really well with the dumpling. So Authentic Pork:This pork dumpling highlighted the sweetness of carrots that were mixed in amongst the pork. Sauce, if I can remember correctly was also soy sauce based.Veggie So Fiesta:This was unique, a blend of Mexican and Chinese all in one. The filling of this taco... I mean dumpling, are filling and satisfying even without meat! Comes with a side of pico de gallo to top off this already cheese topped dumpling. So Hot Chick:A play on buffalo chicken, comes with a creamy buffalo sauce. I think if this dumpling was deep fried.... Good bye buffalo wings! So Gobbler:Ever want a serving of turkey and cranberry mid-year, not only during thanksgiving? This dumpling will give you that fix. This was not on the top of my list, maybe I'm bias and I like my red meats better but if I ever crave a thanksgiving meal, I would just get a couple of these bad boys. Comes with cranberry sauce. Mom and Aunt's favorite.I got so caught up with the dumplings that I forgot to get a true taste of the salads haha! But the portions of salad are decent for lunch and a light dinner. Wash all this deliciousness off with one of their specialty desserts that could double up as drinks and you're golden.Verdict: Do I feel like Mexican food or thanksgiving turkey tonight? Maybe I'll have a bite size of both!

Someone said I should rate the food not the people. If i go someplace and the people running it are rude or jerks, it does not matter how good the food is. I do not reward their lack of appreciation for my $$$. I enjoy this type of food and thought this had the potential to be a favorite but I won't go back BECAUSE OF their arrogant attitude.

We hired SoHo for a party at our house and it was PHENOMENAL. The food was absolutely wonderful and working with Rocky was great - he was responsive and communicative when planning the event, and when a crazy thunderstorm broke out unexpectedly in the middle of the party Rocky and his team handled it seamlessly and continued to get food to the guests. We highly recommend using them for catering for your next party - it was a total hit!
