Sobelman's Pub & Grill

Visited Sobelman's at 12pm in a Sunday. There was a full crowd and lots of revelry. If you had a late night the night before, the volume level is a little much! We we're promptly served and our server Diego was very helpful. We ordered a Bloody Mary, from their extensive Bloody Mary list and a breaded tenderloin with fries. The particular bloody that we had had bacon wrapped cheese curds and shrimp and my wife said was great My tenderloin was flat, which is fine, and probably a little overcooked, but it was still very tasty. It is an old building with a lot of character and we look forward to coming back again sometime.

This is one of our main stops right when we get to Milwaukee. This place is always rocking and especially on the weekends. We drive in from Chicago for the bloody Mary's. Bartenders are always taking care of us when we got in.It's a great atmosphere with the fall season coming up to for college game day.

Best Bloody Mary's in Milwaukee. The hamburgers are always excellent also. Plus very good service.A must see and drink place when you come to Milwaukee.

Sobelman's was recommended to me by a Milwaukee area native as a place I absolutely had to check out when visiting the city. There are two locations, including one in Waukesha, but I went to the original on St. Paul Avenue. On a Sunday afternoon during the NFL season the line was quite literally out the door. There was barely standing room inside as we waiting for a table or seat at the bar. We finally got two seats at the bar and I of course had to order one of their famous bloody marys. I went with the Grand Slam Bloody Mary (not on the menu but described to me by our waitress), which features all the their typical fixings plus highlights of all of their menu-item bloody marys: bacon-wrapped chicken slathered in bourbon sauce, bacon cheese cracks, bacon-wrapped cheese balls, and a cheeseburger slider. For $20.50 this is an entire meal in itself and might be the best deal in Milwaukee. I also ordered the beer cheese bacon burger which was amazing in its own right. We had way more than enough food and took boxes home. Our waitress, even with the place being slammed busy, was so friendly and accommodating. Sobelman's is totally unique and 100% worth any line you have to wait to get inside. I cannot imagine returning to visit Milwaukee without stopping by again and I can't wait to do so!

Met some friends for Bloody Mary's on a Saturday morning around 10:30AM. We were quickly seated without a reservation, but make sure to get there early, the place was full by 11AM! The room we were seated in did get quite loud with a large party seated next to us so plan accordingly. Everyone enjoyed their bloodies and our server was friendly. I opted for an NA Bloody Mary and lived that it came with a root beer chaser. Our server was friendly and gave us stickers and cookies upon leaving which was a nice touch!

I stopped by for a quick burger. I went for a The Sobelman. The burger was really good. The burger had a jalapeno salsa sort on top of the patty. That enhanced the flavor of the burger. It came with nice and crispy fries. The place seems to be a small close knit place. People were all talking to each other and enjoying football. The place is in a silent area, so parking was not an issue.

Mr. Sobelman knows how to run a restaurant. He genuinely cares about his employees, his customers, and the quality of food he puts out. If you are looking for a good burger in Milwaukee, this is the place to go. Classic ambiance for a Wisconsin burger place and the bloody Mary's bro are delicious.

Really loved my recent experience. I really wanted to try one of their fun over-the-top loaded bloody marys but was having a difficult time deciding which one. Our server Fani was so kind and helped my sister and I pick the perfect meal/drink combo. We went with the dialed back version of the beast and added an extra slider. (Possibly called the masterpiece? I don't remember the exact name but this came with every skewer and a smaller drink.) This was the perfect amount of food and drink for my sister and I to split as we only wanted a small meal. It also comes with a beer chaser.My favorite of the toppings was the bacon wrapped cheese (bread?) ball. My sister loved the saucey bacon wrapped chicken skewer. We also both liked their triangle shaped cheese cracks(?).The slider was ok, pretty average but was a decent lunch. I really liked the dive-esque nature and local feel of this place. It might be a tourist spot, but it was worth a stop in my opinion. I want to say our meal was around $20, which is amazing.

Sobelman's is a perfect spot to satisfy your burger craving without sacrificing your wallet! Prices here are great especially for the quality of food you receive. Service was super quick and very friendly as well!Their menu has tons of unique burger options so it was hard to pick just one! I went with the cool ranch burger. Overall it was delicious, just a little dry in my opinion. Luckily my burger came with sauce (southwest ranch), however I would recommend adding a sauce if your burger doesn't come with one. I'm not a Bloody Mary fan, but obviously they are also known for those. So if you are a fan, definitely check those out!

Love this place. Have eaten here many times over the years and I love the burgers. I had "the loser burger" with tots. Can't remember which one my husband had with onion rings. Both were gone quick ! He washed it down with a Bloody Mary. Service was great like always. It's your typical bar/restaurant decor but very clean! We will definitely be back!
