Smoke on the Water BBQ

Awesome location, with a nice menu. Servers were very pleasant. Food was good. The interior is casual and comfortable. We really looked forward to coming here! We prefer to support local businesses. Unfortunately, they politicized their business by promoting a blow out party for the First Felon's inauguration. Definitely a turn off for those who remember January 6th, etc.

My wife and I stumbled on this place and we were so glad we did. The food was on point. Everything we had was incredibly delicious, with nice sized portions. We had the stuffed peppers and two variations of their mac and cheese. Fantastic!The ambience was great as well. We were there in the summer and were lucky enough to get a seat on the deck overlooking the lake. Perfect for date night. Service was attentive and helped with navigating the menu, which was also well put together. Obviously geared towards BBQ, but there are some other options for those that may not prefer BBQ. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful views overlooking the lake. The back deck is the perfect spot to perch next to the lake and enjoy a meal. A great breeze. Just bring your sunglasses as there isn't always a ton of shade. Reservations are available, but to be honest they seem like a way to show your interest. The table may not be available when you arrived. We waited 15 minutes after arriving to be seated. And the next reservation came in and had to do the same. Seems to be more of a walk in culture and they don't actively manage against the reservations. Menu is of course focused on meats. Had the brisket salad and the brisket was extremely smoky, almost too smoky. The pulled pork and chicken were much better. Really enjoyed the zucchini fries that are served as a side and the sriracha barbecue sauce. Service was great, very attentive and welcoming.

Soo good!! The pulled pork bbq sandwich and the mother of all burgers were both big hits! Our sides - sweet potato fries and tater tots were also very good. They were both perfectly crunchy. The view of the lake was a nice addition! Bigger inside than I was expecting, and the outdoor patio would be perfect for summer.

Stopped in on a rainy day an early dinner and was quite impressed with the smoked entrees. The service was prompt with a good variety of draft beers. The view of Okauchee lake is great with a large deck for warmer days outside as well. Our orders included the pulled chicken and the briscuit and were very pleased with both selections.

Very much enjoyed my meal here! We arrived right when it opened and it was already packed. We were served quickly. The food was all good - my family especially loved the Jalapeño Poppers. Definitely would be back on a nice sunny afternoon after a day of boating!

stopped in excited to try some of their smoked meats & enjoy their beautiful patio!! was happy to be able to get a prime spot at 4:30 -- you probably have to get there this early to guarantee an outdoor spot!waitress was extremely kind but you could tell very busy with the whole patio area. we both enjoyed our brisket sandwich & pulled pork plate, but felt the portion sizes of meat were a bit small. would definitely come back for drinks and the view of the water!

I've been back several times over the last year but recently ventured here for Friday Fish Fry. Disappointed based on previous experience. We were seated promptly and service was pretty good. Can't say the same about the food. Our table of four ordered Perch, Haddock fish fry's and the pan seared walleye. The fried fish was decent, fries were cold-and for $22 they served it in a plastic basket. (Did I mention we ate inside at dinner time?)The walleye came out 10 min after other entrees and barely edible. Overcooked and smothered with some type of sauce/goop that was supposed to be "seasoned with fresh garlic and Cajun spices." Rice-also overcooked paste and carrots..yes overcooked. Another previous stop I ordered the burnt ends appetizer. They were delicious at one time, but last order it was a bowl full of shredded meat in barbecue sauce. Good place for drinks at the bar and catch a game or bingo night in the winter but will stick to drinks only until perhaps they do a menu refresh.

Great spot on the lake! We had reservations for outdoor seating but it poured rain so we moved inside which was wonderful as well. Loud atmosphere but fun and nice. Waitress was wonderful, the food was fantastic. We got the Friday fish meals and perch sandwich was awesome with brussels sprouts that will have me dreaming about them for days! I could have eaten an entire tray of them. The perch was cooked perfectly and the tartar sauce was excellent as well. They specialize in smoked drinks and we got the smoked margaritas which presentation was neat and the taste was delightful! Can't wait to go back and sit by the lake!

Great staff, great food and great views! Great variety of the menus from rice bowls to bbq to pizza. Must try the brisket! Will return
