We've been here twice for drinks and both times it's perfection. Staff is attentive, friendly, and overall welcoming. Views are great and the food looked amazing. We will be back to try the appetizers and burgers!

Recommended by family and couldn't be more happy. The service was quick and very helpful. The food, Friday Fish Fry (had the perch), was amazing. Potato pancakes were on point and the Bloody Mary was oh so delicious. Very quaint place with an awesome lake view. Only disappointment was the pull tab machine wasn't working. FWIW, my wife had the cod and it was equally amazing

Service was quick as they were not busy. Drink sizes were large, alcohol content was small. Brandy old fashioned was more or less sprite with a splash of brandy. Chess curds were good. Ambiance was slightly better than most Wisconsin bars, slightly.

Love this place! A hidden gem that is off the beaten path....but well worth the trip. Have never had a bad item from the menu.....but our favorite (by far) is the Perch Fish Fry with potato pancakes. The place is always bustling (especially in Summer months)....and the wait staff is incredible. Be warned....it can be busy at times, but is worth the wait. Great lake views make this place a destination worth stopping for a quick bite to eat or a enjoying a refreshing adult beverage.

Totally yum. Great fries and environment was chill. Customer service was very good for how busy it was. No pressure mask -

I've been coming to this place for the last two years as this is the only good spot in Hartford for dining.There are a ton of options for food, but it is mainly all bar food like nachos, burgers and sandwiches. My favorite was the jalapeno burger, and I also enjoy their nachos. In the summer time I love to dine on the patio in the back since it's overlooking the lake! With a plate of fish tacos- a super popular item- or a fish fry on Friday with delicious potato pancakes, life feels good. My sister also loves their chicken ranch and chicken Caesar wraps! The prices are okay for what you get. I think it could be lowered a bit, but overall it's a decent price.

The hostess is a heartless creature. She was stressed out due to the crowd, and took it all out on those that were providing her with the very opportunity to earn her living.We waited twice as long as they told us the wait would be (no problem . . . they WERE hopping!), but when our number came up they tried to put one of us at the bubble and the other one at the bar (45° angle from each other). When my wife asked about getting either a table or at the very least two seats where we could sit next to each other to talk, the hostess scoffed and said "these are next up".We decided to head over to the Lake Street Inn (which was EXCELLENT!) and as we were leaving the hostess said "cya guys!" (For the record, my wife "self identifies" as a girl).It's just a shame they made us wait 45 minutes to be offered a place to eat where we wouldn't (and couldn't) even be able to converse during the meal. Just not cool, people.

Oh i wanted to like this place. My daughter and I were up from Milwaukee and recommended this place. We went ordered a drink and were instructed to go outside. The bartender poured my wine from a Bota box and handed it to me along with a menu and silverware. The sun was hot so we put up the umbrella on the table. Within minutes two women came over and said they had to take the umbrella. When I asked why, one said "I'm not sure how to say it." The other who seemed to be her senior swiftly came over and began taking the umbrella. I asked again. She said she just needed to. I said is it the wind? (There was little to no wind.) They chatter amongst each other and wouldn't answer. I asked again. Finally one of them said something about how the wind can tip over tables. I said that's weird - I've never seen that happen before- and again, THERE WAS NO WIND. The tables were super heavy and the umbrellas anchored. She became combative and said "Rrally? is this your first time sitting outside by a lake?"I live on a lake. I often frequent places on Lake Michigan. With much stronger winds. She was rude and dismissive and we had no protection of the sun. When the other servers came out they were upset. "Why did they take down the umbrellas again?"I understand if there's a wind but she treated us like crap. The other server was kind. Sadly I won't be back.

Excellent food - a reliable hidden gem in this area. Have been dining here occasionally for years and never disappointed.

Fabulous food ... AMAZING wait staff and bartenders!!The wings , burgers, chicken sandwiches, reubens.... All so so good!!! The CrabCakes are thee BEST!!! We have never had a bad meal or bad service!!Everyone we bring to the Pub raves and can't wait to come back!!
