I brought two beautiful lamps in good condition to this store to ask if they could be put on consignment. The woman (I think an owner) looked at the lamps. she said "Sweet. I think I'll reject these." Then she turned on her heel and walked away from me. Not even a "thank you for bringing them in", after I had taken the time to load them in my car and drive over there. This was a disappointing experience and I think I was treated rudely. Sorry but I don't think I will be visiting that store again.

Great items for wonderful prices. Amazing staff, so helpful!!! I always find treasures and can consign items of mine for extra cash. They are particular with what they take, but they have to be so that you have nice items to buy! I just found my husband a beautiful original painting for his birthday at an amazing price.

Ms. K - really- it sounds like you need meds and possibly therapy! The store is amazing- and I consign and shop there- and I've had items that I've brought in turned down - so what?? The next stop is then probably Good Will, so not an issue for me. EVERYONE that works there has always been helpful and friendly- and at times I've seen them extremely over the top busy- so get off of your pedestal and start living in the real world- if they were picky it's because YOU as a shopper want to feel as if your shopping at Saks 5th Ave- so give them a break.

While admittedly I am not into secondhand consignment shops, I am into judging a place based on the service that I receive. The greeter was great, but the other two women, possibly owners, were not interested in doing anything with the customer, or so it seemed. I am certain that one of them outright lied to me about the source of the dinnerware that I was asking about, and that was a total turn-off. and quite laughable. I wouldn't bother going back ever, as there was just a way about their approach that made me very untrusting in their business ethics. You don't have to lie to me to sell me something. Period.

Always a great selection for clothing, purses, jewelry & shoes! A great alternative to shopping at the mall or chain stores. You never know what you'll find but it's a pretty good bet you'll walk away with something unique & gorgeous.

Is there a zero rating? Horrible experience. They ripped me off and left me with a loss, not a gain. This review is long, but I believe in explaining in detail. I was warned of the snotty and superior attitude of the owner but ignored because it appeared to be well run shop. Don't be fooled like I was. I consigned extremely high-end, valuable items. Photo'd everything with my assistant, then brought them in beautifully wrapped and boxed, and was told my (somewhat expensive) specialty packaging would be saved to use if items didn't sell. They rushed through the intake process, I requested but they created no record of the exact number, description, condition of the items I brought in, which they told me they would provide (they didn't, my mistake, I believed them). It took more than a month to receive even a superficial summary of the items they accepted. The process, I was told and on their website, was: if items didn't sell during the allotted time, I would be responsible for packaging them up myself and retrieving them within a brief window of time. Some of my expensive items sold--they (the company) received 40-50% of each sale. A complete (and flawless) dining set of 10 place settings, six pieces each, vintage (highly unusual and expensive, discontinued and unavailable on the market) Limoge porcelain plus various servicing pieces--totaling 66 pieces worth thousands of dollars--didn't sell by the end of the 3 months. I verified I'd be coming to repackage with my packaging they were supposedly holding (boxes with individual padding designed specifically for china dinnerware), and pick-up the next day. When I arrived all my items ( or so I was told) had already been sealed up in odds and ends boxes. I questioned this, said I wanted to pack it all to verify the condition, as was their stated policy on their website, and I wanted my own specialty packaging returned to do it. They said "oh no, we don't have your boxes, the owner boxed it all".... It turned out half the items weren't even wrapped in paper much less foam, willy-nilly stuffed unprotected in odd boxes, completely unprofessionally handled. But what's worse... AN ENTIRE PLACE SETTING of six pieces, was missing. They returned only nine settings and the accessories of the Limoge. I tried repeatedly to reasonably discuss the problem, on phone and in emails which included photos of my items. The owner made no apparent attempt to determine if the set was misplaced in her storeroom or otherwise mishandled, and absolutely refused to apologize much less acknowledge they'd either misplaced, broken, sold or worse... the entire place setting. She/her staff "gaslighted" me and impugned my intelligence and integrity ("are you sure you counted right when unloading the boxes?""are you sure you didn't throw them out?""are you sure you didn't hold back the setting?"), then dismissed me saying "you have many other beautiful things to enjoy!! The arrogant and insulting manner of the owner, I could handle, but not what appears to be dishonesty and certainly terrible business behavior. This totally diminished the value of what was a full 10-setting set by at least hundreds of dollars, if not completely; I cannot replace the "lost" pieces to re-complete the set because there aren't any to be found--anywhere. I definitely lost more money due to this than I made on the sale of the other items and will never deal with them again.Though I recommend against it, if you do choose to consign with them, I highly recommend that you insist on a count in front of you, provided in writing then and there, and photograph everything as they take it in. Don't be rushed, don't be suckered. They shouldn't be trusted.

I had amazing, high end items that I wanted to consign. Most had been worn never or once or twice. Great brands: Hudson, AG Jeans, Spiritual Gangster, Vince and J Crew. The consignment person was rude and said they were worn and had stains. These clothes had been worn like one time and laundered. No stains, no wear. I saw things on the racks with wear and pilling. My clothes had none of that. Seems like something was up with the consignment judge. Everyone else that came in got all there clothes approved. She did not approve one of my items. I WILL NOT SHOP THERE AGAIN! Seems like the consignment person judge did not want to open another account. Sad, this is a nice store with rude staff. What a waste!

Rude! Over priced! I've been here before but it's been a while & now I know why. I was greeted immediately upon entry but had no idea who or where the person was. To the right I saw someone who was on the phone. I proceeded to look around and went towards the rear of the store where the clothing was. 3 women were in the back area talking loudly with each other about their working schedule. (One sounded like she was a manager or owner) None acknowledged me or even looked my direction. I continued to look like an interested customer but sadly left after being there for about 15 minutes & not even having anyone approach me for assistance. They obviously don't value customers. But to be quite honest I wouldn't have bought anything anyway. Overpriced stuff!! Beware people! Be Savvy but not Simply Savvy!!

I bought a partition at Simply Savvy today. I was very impressed with how welcome the owner was. She never missed anyone coming in the door. The store was beautifully laid out. I am a realtor and I have had clients sell things at Simply Savvy on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend them!

Reviewing as a Consigner for Simply Savvy, the women who inspect and accept items are extremely pretentious. Apparently, they believe they work at Saks Fifth Avenue and not a resale shop. I am always in shock at the name brand, stylish, items they turn down. Also, they will tell you it will only take 20 minutes to go through your items, over an hour later there will be no apologies because..........after all THEY are doing YOU a favor! The Greeters arealways very nice, I think the women in the back need to take a lesson!
