God I love Simma's- I've lived here or 4 years (originally from the Chicago land area) and truly no other bakeries I've been to have a carrot cake that matches that of Simma's. Every Thanksgiving I've brought a Simma's carrot cake back home to Illinois for the holidays and every year leading up to it my family demands that I bring it. If I ever move back to Illinois, i'm 10000% gonna be driving to Simmas just for their carrot cake.Besides their carrot cake, their cakes and baked goods in general are so freakin' good. You really can't go wrong! Service is always efficient and fast- and I typically go the day of or day before holidays!

Stopped in same day to purchase a cheesecake for a coworkers birthday and they had a great selection available ready to go! After I selected my cake(got the classic cheesecake of course) they offered writing a complimentary custom message on the cake. I was greeted upon arrival and there were several staff members behind the counter so I had no wait at all. They offer a variety of sweet treats besides their coveted cheesecake including morning buns, eclairs, individual slices of cake, and much more! Inside, the retail space is clean and has a variety of items for sale that would complement any event from birthdays to everyday special occasions--such as cards, candles, napkins, plates.

As always, Simma's delivers on taste and quality. Did not want to order an entire cake, so I took advantage of the case with individual slices of dreamy desserts. The cheesecake and carrot cake are always winners, but the dessert of the month was amazing and unexpected. A cookies and cream style cake - the frosting was out of this world, the flavor was delicious, and somehow it was not overly sweet. Thanks Simma's. I'll keep coming back for more!

Everyone spoke about the delicious cheesecake. They even included a Diamond ring. My grandson was pretty sure it was real. Thank you Simma's for the delicious desserts. You are the best.

Simma's Bakery offers a variety of baked goods and specialty desserts. I love their selection of cakes and tarts, always fresh and made with the best ingredients. A couple of my favorites are the key lime pie and fruit tarts. ‍

If you want a great cheesecake for any event, look no further than Simma's!!! Friendly and kind service serving the best cheesecake around. We picked up a cake for my mom's birthday, it was both beautiful and delicious. Personally I like a tad more fruit with my cheesecake so if you'd feel the same, maybe pick up your preferred fruit to add on the side. But overall this cheesecake is fantastic!!

We moved downtown after almost 30 years in Tosa. Simma's is the thing I miss the most. Everything is great, but the Morning buns are unequaled anywhere.

To make a long story short We decided last minute to have a cake at our wedding. Our aunt went to this bakery and was able to get this two-tier red velvet cake which happened to be already made. This cake was absolutely delicious No surprise that the cake was a hit at our wedding, and it was gone soon as it was cut. Thank you so much for making our day more memorable with such a beautiful and delicious cake. I will definitely be going back for other desserts. We decorated the cake on our own with the pretty floral pieces. We appreciate your service!

I can't speak on how their "regular" stuff is since I came here with the idea that we'd possibly be using them for our wedding cake so keep that in mind when reading. We made the appointment and paid what needed to be paid for a cake tasting and selected the flavors we wanted. When the day of the tasting came, we were seated in a room away from the hussle and bussle of the main area which was appreciated. The flavors we selected to try were brought out and we were told which was which and then given space and time to try them AT OUR OWN PACE!!! That was wonderful. No one was starting at us akwardly while we tried each one and made our notes on them. We decided to go with them and paid the $50 deposit. Unfortuately we did cancel with them (with plenty of notice) because we found another bakery we liked better and better suited our needs and wants for the wedding cake. I called to cancel the contract and the lady I spoke with was very sweet and understanding. She did not make me feel bad for canceling at all and because of that and the experience when doing the cake tasting, they will be high on our list if we need a cake or desserts for anything else in the future.

Service is always good and bakery is excellent. If you haven't tried them, do try the morning buns. Heated for a bit and they are yummy.
