Shorewood's Famers Market helps you get your steps in. Situated along the parkway you walk quite a bit to see all the vendors who are set up in one long row. This does allow the zillion strollers to have space to operate. The vendor mix is quite good, with food trucks situated mid-way for breakfast or lunch on the go. There's plenty of produce choice, as well as meat and flowers. There are not too many gift stalls - just a few to get special items from.Parking can be a bear here, so keep that in mind. It will add to your workout. In general the mood is convivial and it's a great way to spend a Sunday morning.

The market is placed near a walk path leading to the Estabrook park and eventually the Shorewood Farmers' Market. Warm & Friendly people...Entered the market to hear an artist playing a rendition of Nirvana. The asian pears were the first on my radar.I purchased one full basket. The morning surprise was seeing Herb Farmer Venice Williams. An array of her herbal skin and hair products were at the market. After reading the ingredients on one product...I was sold! and purchased what I believe may be "heaven in a jar". MOST MEMORABLE EXCHANGE:"Must I make a purchase to get a tarot card?""No, here's a free one :) It was actually a sticker. Favorite take homes of the morning were my vibrant, bright bouquet of flowers from the Mai Lee table and of course the organic cold pressed mermaid juice with a hint of mint.

This place has gotten BIG in the last few years! It's a great row of a variety of vendors and a few actual farmers, but that seems to be the new trend of farmer's markets these days. It's still a fun experience and a great way to spend a little time on Sunday morning. It's a nice walk along the paved road with vendors all on one side, and grassy park on the other side. Grab some food, enjoy the park, take a walk, picnic on the grass! Walk over a little more and go down to the river and go fishing! This is a great addition to Shorewood. Tree-ripe is always my favorite peach and blueberry stop!Oh, and I found a new favorite egg roll stand!

I like this farmer's market because it's in my neighborhood and the Tree Ripe truck comes several Sundays in the summer so I can get my peaches and blueberries fix. Parking can be nuts and hard to find, so if you can bike or walk, I'd recommend that. My other favorite stop is Matilda bakehouse. Amazing pastries here! Highlights for me have been the ham and cheese croissant, s'mores croissant, and the strawberry roll. They change things up and have a seasonal danish, too. Last time, it was peaches and strawberries. They have a variety of booths: knife sharpening, coffee, cheese, soaps, a variety of food trucks, fruits/veggies, and live music, too.

Still looking for a farmers market that has some fresh fruit so I drove over today to check them out. This is a great space because I saw two children's parks and a sports field in the space. Parking was very easy with street parking. The market was a smaller one compared to like the Maddison market with tons of people of all ages. Food options were a Mexican cart, empanadas, pop corn, roasted corn, spring rolls and a waffle trailer. Dam no fresh fruit again except for the peach stand from my last market I was at and I still have a couple left. Various greens and root vegetables with flower stands for the most part. I did find some beef sticks from a place that I have never had before so I got a couple to take with me.Overall its the same general farmers market that I seem to find all over with next to no fresh fruits, no real farmers at the markets just people probably going to wholesale food stores and and selling from cases.

Shorewood farmers market has grown so much! I believe it was in 2020 that the little market moved from the elementary school parking lot to its new home along estabrook drive. Since moving they have been able to expand their offerings immensely including a ton more food trucks which I really enjoy. The only problems I have with the market are the lack of garbage cans and there's only one coffee vendor this year so the line is incredibly long. Additionally sometimes the food trucks don't show up without warning but I'm not sure that's really on the markets but on the vendors for not posting or updating their schedules.

It's a trendy market. If you're looking for a good deal on local fruits and veggies don't come here. They have expensive craft kombucha, soaps and coffee. It defeats the purpose of a farmers market because it's so expensive and niche.

Love the Shorewood Farmers Market! The variety and quality of vendors is superb. Its a bit on the smaller side, but has an easy-going feel because of it. My husband and I start our visit every week with a waffle from Press Waffles and a Kombucha from Lovebootch. My husband also usually indulges in the nitro coffee from Pilcrow. Some other vendors we love: Rocket Baby Bakery, 5 Lilies jam, and Madame Macaron. There are also a couple great veggie selections, some other breakfast options, and beautiful flowers! We've also noticed several vendors selling honey. It's such a nice space for a market, tucked away out of the busy city. There is plenty of parking and its easy to get to by bike on the Oak Leaf Trail. And its nice that it is on a Sunday for those of us who seem to always have a busy Saturday morning!

If you are looking for a farmer's market with actual 'farmers' and fresh vegetables, this is not it. Lots of different kinds of overpriced food trucks and a few tables of vegetables and fresh fruit. Very small affair. Nice entertainment.
