Shawarma Palace

Stopped by here to order takeout for five folks recently. It was a cold winter evening (15 degrees) and was incredibly cold in the restaurant as well (I'd say 50 degrees in there or slightly less). I don't know if they didn't have the heater on or what (I mean it was much colder outside, of course). It wasn't helped by the fact that they had the exterior doors propped open. There was a second set of interior doors that were closed but you could still feel the wind through the cracks. That said, we were there for takeout so weren't super concerned. There was only one person actually dining in house and they were wearing full coat and earmuffs. An odd start to our first experience here, nonetheless.I ordered their falafel wrap, which came on what appeared to be Lebanese flat bread. It was good! The falafel wasn't overly dry and they were generous with the pickles. I got their cheese fries for the side, which basic thick cut fries with cheese sauce. They were a solid aok. One of my dining companions got one of their bowls with the garlic sauce. I had a bite and it was delish. I'd definitely order their falafel bowl next time!The service was kind and the prices are reasonable ($100 or so after tip for dinner for 5). Not sure I'd dine in during the winter months but the food was good!

I've had takeout from Shawarma Palace a couple of times and the food is delicious. The menu has a good variety of items as well as portion sizes, so everybody can find something they like. This place has my favorite baba ganoush - it's lightly smoky, great texture, and just so, so good. I also always get the hummus and kubbeh. This most recent time I tried the falafel wrap and it was excellent. With the sides, I have plenty of leftovers, too. When I placed my delivery order, I had forgotten to add the kubbeh so I called up. The person who answered was really helpful and said, just place an order for pick-up and he'll know to just add it to the other items for the delivery driver. Worked like a charm!

The Shawarma Palace on Brady St and Humboldt Ave has only been open four month, but it's the owner's second location. My wife ordered the beef Shawarma bowl and I ordered the mixed Shawarma bowl that included both beef and chicken. Both bowls also included rice, salad, hummus, tahini and a cup of lentils soup.My wife and I both agree that the Shawarma bowls were the best that we've ever had. Five Stars. The meat was full of flavor and well seasoned. I especially loved the hummus, pickles, and seasoned olive oil. The rice was fluffy and spiced perfectly - Five stars. Tahini - 4 stars. I thought the lentils soup was good - Three 1/2 stars. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The service was excellent, and seeing how the bowl was assembled, I could tell that the staff took pride in preparing our bowls. The restaurant was clean, warm, and has great ambiance. A large menu selection. Give this place a try. We are very happy customers and will be back for sure.

New restaurant that opened in January that I thought I'd give a try. Got the mixed shawarma wrap and it was alright. The protein was not top quality but okay and they were nice to provide some okay garlic and hot sauce but the food didn't blow me away. Would try the entree plate next time!

Shawarma Palace is the best!! I regularly get the Chicken Shawarma bowl to go and it's seriously so good. The food comes very quickly and is always fresh! A number of friends have gotten other things on the menu, and the consensus is the same: Shawarma Palace is unbeatable. Also, the bowl usually feeds me for two meals :)

Amazing good- you must try the beef shawarma, the baba ghanoush, and mix in the garlic sauce if you like garlic!!! Soooo delicious.

This place, or palace, is GREAT! It is authentic, in the right ways. The real Palestinian falafel, the green kind! If you know, then you know it's the only good one. If you don't know, ask an Arab friend and they will tell you quick. Not only is the beef delicious, and well seasoned, but they make the sandwich the way I like it, Doner style. Again, it's the real thing, not just a bunch of garlic like most middle eastern places, where the garlic overwhelms everything else. They kindly make it with the French fries, and pickles, and special sauces, just the way I had it in Turkey. Last time I was there, they even had Dubai chocolate. I tasted it and was amazed; it melts in your mouth and the pistachios add a rich, decadence to the experience. And to make it even better, the guys are so kind, so engaging, they are warm and inviting. They even remembered my name after I'd only been there once. The location is easy, especially when you've drank a little bit on Brady, and the space is clean and comfortable and wide open. I don't usually love shawarma places, they get away with selling bad food because most Americans don't know better. This place could be in Dearborn, MI and it would fit right in. If you want the real deal, and to support some good brothas, definitely check out Shawarma Palace.

I'm not one to review places but this was horrible. the guy taking our order was acting like we were a burden on him for coming in. the guy making our food had an attitude while making the food. he put pickles on our bowl when we asked for none, and he said "just take them off" and made the guy taking orders come back there and fix it. we paid $50 for the food to be bland and thrown together. it was freezing in the restaurant so we ended up just taking our food to go. the atmosphere felt so unwelcoming, and it felt like we were bothering them my coming in. will definitely be going to Shawarma king from now on

Mixed shawarma wrap and baba ganoush were delicious. They're not stingy with the garlic sauce and I appreciate that big time. Workers were super cool and friendly. Highly recommend Shawarma palace if you're in the area.

I would come here every day if I could. The food is absolutely outstanding. After the first time I came in i literally couldn't stop thinking about it. Flavors are THERE.
