Finally got to check this place out in Waukesha County. Beautiful country Sendiks with lots of special goodies throughout. The home section is delightful. Found some really nice holiday gifts which the employee graciously wrapped beautifully in tissue paper in a nice black home bag. All I had to do was take the sticker off and give it to the recipient. There was lobster rolls me to order and lobster fest going on which looked really fun but I had other plans unfortunately. A little pricey on some things but it is unfortunately the area sometimes. All in all it was a really nice experience

Do I understand why the floors are carpeted? No. But it makes for an interesting, and I suppose elevated atmosphere. The quality of everything here is good, particularly the meat and produce, but you pay the price for those carpeted floors and closed door cooler sections. We like the layout of this store, and appreciate the cleanliness. The checkout area could be improved such that you have more opportunities to exit without running into others, and the help desk is set off from the cash registers. Otherwise, this is a great store to have nearby.

Quality: +++++Price: ++++Atmosphere/Cleanliness: +++++Variety: +++Butcher: +++++Fresh Produce: +++++Service: +++++Years ago we had one grocery store option. Then we had two options with Pic N Sav. Now, we have 8 not counting Sam's, Costco or Target, Walmart. all offering a different value proposition. Only one option gives me everything I am looking for but it is one of the furthest for me to drive to.I like Sendik's Food Markets for some options. Sendik's use to be a specialty food market and there are two different chains. This one in Waukesha is part of 15 stores and owned by Ted Balistreri, or some refer to as the "Red Bag" Sendik's.Once considered a high-end specialty grocer that you can't find elsewhere, with a price to match. I feel it has gone more mainstream with less uniqueness but still high quality which I like. I like their fresh produce and butcher shop. A large wine selection but not enough to make me go here as prices are sometimes higher than what I can find somewhere else. When I buy wines, I generally buy 6-12 bottles at a time and I can find better deals elsewhere. Service is great. Really great service. Always met with a "hi, can I help you" at the butcher shop. Advice on meats, cuts, are you grilling?" Fast checkout and extremely clean stores and wide enough aisles or just not jammed with people whose value prop is lowest price.Yes I am a fan of the butcher shop and fresh produce, but I can find this elsewhere at a better price but at a much further drive.

Nice to have some better grocery options in Waukesha! We especially enjoy the sirloin sales they have from time to time. I had to laugh when I saw the liquor department. It is pretty sad that they had to empty all of their bottles for "demo" bottles [does Waukesha have a liquor theft problem?], but I wonder if the staff was able to enjoy a fun party in order to accomplish such a collection of empty liquor bottles! Nonetheless, we are grateful for the selection of products here - from produce to meat cuts, wine and liquors. This is a total upgrade from previous grocers at this location!!

Lovely Home and Floral Department. Wonderful experiences with Annie and Jean. Great selection of meats. My only suggestion is customer service. A young man a couple months back was very short with me when I asked about a coupon. He was in charge of the cashiers. Too bad for the company.

I would rather have the sentry that was there before it but it is not horrible it is just not worth it, which means I probably wouldn't shop here. they do have a nice selection but a lot of things are found else where that I need. to me it is not the worst. I would just go to other sentry's or pick n saves that they haven't remodeled

Sendiks has good tomatoes, grown in Ontario of all places. I'm a tomato lover and won't under any circumstances buy Mexican grown tomatoes since they're almost invariably lousy, but the Ontario grown tomatoes are actually good. I'm writing this for purely selfish reasons - I want people to buy them so they keep stocking them, but they are ripe and actually taste like tomatoes should. Give them a try.

We had the greatest experience at Sendiks-Waukesha, WI. We shopped there sometimes but we ordered Christmas and New Year's Dinners from the Deli. They were outstanding! The price was right and you certainly got lots of awesome Food - enough leftovers for another meal! It was hard to order elsewhere for just two people but they were so very accommodating and the service was super!. Told all our friends about them and we certainly will order Holiday Meals there every year! Very clean and wonderful store!
