I was going shopping and I thought that I would go to Sendik's because I could go for one of the fresh sweet baked little desserts and I like some house brand items also. For some reason this store as I walked the store I never came across the big case with all the deserts like every store because it's in your face so either I'm blind or it's not set up the same way.I particularly like the produce department because it seems bigger than my go to store and better stocked. I also like the deli because it has Boars Head products with a nice variety and some pre cooked items to build a heat and serve meal. The store also has pre package heat and serve meals amount grab and go items. The meat and seafood department is also great looking with fresh items. I also like the frozen Maryland crab cakes which have imitation crab but they are the best frozen ones I have had and handy when you get the crave.I don't always shop Sendik's but sometimes I want what they carry so I have stop over and get my fix, no dessert today but maybe next visit if I can find it.

Salad bar is disappointing. Choices of greens consisted of browned shredded iceberg, browned romaine, and spinach. A good selection of toppings... too bad the bar is set up making it almost impossible to get at half of them. As a special treat an utterly indifferent deli worker walked right in front of me tossing and empty bowl up and down on his hands. Perhaps he thought he was entertaining. Personally, I would have preferred an "excuse me".

CarpetedThis is definitely the place for snobby New Berlin shoppers. Sendik's has a far better selection than PNS across the street in all departments. The biggies for me are the spice aisle - they have everything I can't find elsewhere, produce - it's always stocked and fresh and floral - great selection of good looking flowers. Prices may be slightly higher than elsewhere but you're definitely getting better stuff!

They have a lot of unique "Wisconsin" items. -#1 is probably The famous Apple pie in a bag (get the caramel one!) Plenty of cheese choices and a decent liquor dept including some local "Sendik" beer You'll find pretty much any grocery item here as well as a nice deli and bakery.(get a Kringle while you're at it)

This store and their corporate marketing manager do not want Handi-cap people's business. Then have gone out of their way to place the cart returns way toward the back of the parking lot and away from the Handi-cap parking spots (32, 40 & 48) feet from the Handi-cap parking spots. Worst part is that is only one way. Joe the Corporate marketing manager says they meet the minimum number cart returns and ever though they are way out in the parking lot he will not add the necessary cart returns to help Handi-cap people.

The customer service gal was simply quite rude...was not even willing to allow me to get a full sentence out...just bums me out because customer service seems to be getting closer and closer to a thing of the past

I ordered my Thanksgiving dinner from Sendik's in New Berlin. I expected a good turkey dinner, as I have received in the past. What I received was a tough turkey, and undercooked green bean casserole. The pie and cranberry relish were very good. The turkey was so tough, we used steak knives, to try to cut it. My family was as disappointed as I. I think that still upsets me, is I called the Monday after Thanksgiving to let them know how unhappy we were. The person in the deli who said she was the manager, said "sorry", in acold uncaring tone, and hung up. Is this the Sendik's way? I hope not.

We used the catering platters for my parents 50th anniversary party. The deviled egg platter, shrimp platter, fresh fruit, fresh veggie, cheese and sausage platter and the mini sandwiches were all delicious and professional prepared and presented. All guests were raving about the food. The workers helped load into my car. Would highly recommend using them for any party

To the managers of this store I would highly suggest that you retrain the people making your taco salads as they are not supposed to be watery or so spicy that you can't eat them. Never any consistency on these salads and they should be very easy to make. The smallest size container you sell is too deep for a taco salad and ends up being all base and very little toppings. Too much base and dripping wet lettuce is not the way to make a taco salad. Also pay more attention to how many customers are waiting in line at the deli versus how many employees you have to serve them. You do not need the same employee slicing deli meat and then having to go get potato salad for that customer when it could have been done already when waiting for the meat.

The meat department has quite the selection from seasoned boneless chicken to specialty meats. The fish department has a larger selection than other stores, which I have been to in the area. Bakery department has a good selection of bread from walnut raisin bread to crusty breads to mini-cakes. The produce selection has an a variety of apples, pineapple, brussel sprouts, russet potatoes, snow peas, and more.
