I've shared my highly rated review for this Sendik's in the past, but I'm back to pay homage to their in-house sushi. Let me tell ya, I've been on a sushi kick ever since I had my second baby (no sushi allowed while pregnant = tons of sushi afterward), and this is my go-to spot! Yes, going out to a sushi restaurant is always going to be the top notch option, but if you're just looking for grab'n'go style, at a good price, here's your place. They have a whole section dedicated to where the chefs are whipping it up fresh in front of you. All the things: nigiri, makisushi, chirashi sushi, and big ol' rolls. I like to go for the combo-box options to try a variety. Over the weekend we had a combo with the philly, dragon roll, and crunchy shaggy dog. It was the perfect app-type platter for a group of friends we had over. Everything is genuinely so fresh and flavorful.

Love this place! Small European grocery vibe. Their deli, bakery meat sections r amazing. They have some products under their brand and love most. The crab cakes and lobster cakes and almond crusted flounder are a great last minute dinner pu. Cute gift area too!

Ted, congratulations on the store remodel, looks great. Now how about paying more attention to the rest of your stores. Elm Grove is terrible and New Berlin is getting worse. The workers at EG store need something to lift them up and produce is bad. The bakery doesn't have good choices or quantity. The NB store used to be great, I would drive from Capitol Dr in Brookfield to go there. The Brown Bag Sendiks is less than 5 minutes from my home and has of been kicking your produce quantity. I personally do not like the owner at the Brown Bag store, unfriendly. But product wins.

Have been coming to the Bayside store on and off for almost 10 years, and it always had a cozy, European vibe to it. However, recently, since adding the self check-outs it seems, this store has a very different feel. First, the people at the check-out are often gossiping with each other (and you can hear what they are saying) or act entitled. The store is smaller, and there is rarely a long line, why were the self-check-outs added in the first place?? It is understandable in the larger stores where the attendants bagging and checkouts can get busy, but this is rarely the case here. Plus, they have a third attendant working the self check-out and often he or she does not seem to do anything but stand there. Also, the rewards system is incredibly difficult to navigate and there are extra steps to use your card which completely defeats the purpose of saving time in self-checkout anyway. They should go back to having all baggers/checkers and hire more professional staff who care about the store. Great new layout and renovation -- bakery and deli options outstanding as well. Just go back to all baggers/checkers at this location with a higher bar for professionalism.

Sendik's customer loyalty program is terrible. The worst in th area. The program is very difficult to take advantage of and navigate, unlike the competition that regular sends meaningful rewards for free products, i.e. mayo, orange juice, bakery, etc. Sendik's gives you 50 cents or a dollar-off this or that item, but they don't make it easy for you! I have over 100,000 points, which means I've purchased over $100,000 in groceries, yet Sendik's does nothing to make you feel like an appreciated customer. Nothing. Na da. A big zero for customer appreciation. Early on in the program they occasionally gave you a free fruit basket, or a basket of speciality products. At least it made you feel appreciated for your business. But, not any more. I find myself going to Piggly Wiggly in Mequon because they actually make the customers feel appreciated.
